Review of the 5mW 405nm Violet Purple Blue Beam Laser Pen (that I snagged on Ebay not long ago).
It claims "<5mW" but actually measures almost 50mW -- but SHHHHH!!! I won't knark if you won't.
Review of the Spectra-Physics 161B-060 Air-Cooled Argon Ion Laser.
Although this laser is obsolete, you can still quite readily find them available on the used market, so I believe that posting my review of it on this BBS is kosher.
This laser is *SERIOUSLY* over spec (sold as a "<10mW" laser; measures over 75mW), but since it is already being sold as a CDRH Class IIIB laser, this isn't quite as serious as a laser being sold as a Class IIIA unit outputting 55mW -- which is actually surprisingly common.
Thanks for letting me know about your reviews, I'm really busy (it's 3:20AM and I have an exam in 5 hours, awesome), I'll add them after Wednesday (another exam that day).
You're more than welcome!!!
Here's another one for ya: Review of the Bright Night Laser Light (a "poor man's" self-contained red & green laser light show).
