FYI, I'm watching this one, too. Matthew posted it on another forum at:

and Phil didn't have nice things to say about. It's remarkable the output is so high given it's 20 years old, there's no mistake about that.

But if all you need is plasma ball voltages, it would seem a $5 plasma ball is a better option than this $40 device. But maybe I better shut up since I know very little about zapping argons back to live. :yabbem:

Actually it looks like the seller for these Melles Griot 05 LHP 925 454 30mW JDS Uniphase 1145AP 3504 35mW Lasers | eBay, just re listed them.
The re listed ones are the ones I just posted above.
