Hello question, meet answer :p

Just out of interest TJ, is it hard to keep up the laser hobby without being able to post in this forum very often? If it were me I think I would have lost a bit of interest, although I guess you can still view the forum and post till you get banned.

See all you guys that haven't been around long have no idea about the history here. This forum was forged out of unmoderated drama. Before mods, we were self regulated and Running around like the Wild West lol. And tj, as crude as he can be was very effective at getting the real trolls out. I realize the forum has changed and none of us know the real reason he was banned.

I understood clearly that he was calling out Ped and it
had nothing to do with you...

If I held out my hand to help a guy in a ditch and that guy
started ranting about my panties being in a twist I'd call
him "Numb Nuts" too....:crackup::crackup:

Here here :yh: lol

Chip, it seems as if you and the rest of the world define "contradiction" differently.

By making a supposition as to why I my status was revoked, and then stating that I am not blaming anyone, no contradiction is being made.

Now, had I said as a matter of fact that my status was removed because of certain veterans, then claimed I wasn't blaming anyone, that would be a contradiction.

A vague supposition, followed by a statement of fact regarding my laying of blame is in no way a contradiction.

No me and Webster diction are pretty clear on the definition.

You say the vets conspire against you, then you go on to say that you blame nobody. So to clear things up, I am clearly saying you blame the vets for being bitter and got you kicked out, and I am clearly saying that you say you blame nobody. It is you that don't know what the word means apparently.

I'm confused, what's my question got to do with the answer you provided?

Also, wasn't the real reason T_J was banned because of repetitive trolling?

BloomPyle, it didn't start off this way. It started off as just a vent. TJ successfully derailed another thread.

Haha I realized after I posted that you might not get my joke because of my rant. You wrote a long question about tj, then answered it in your last sentence lol.

Michael, where your thesis goes wrong is your insistence that I do blame the veterans. I do not. I understand the need for rules, and I am abiding by them. My statement was not a condemnation of blame to the veterans. While I understand why you feel that it does. That is not the intention, and if it wasn't clear before, perhaps you should take it as such, by me saying as much.

Well I was raised to take people on their word, and if you say it was a misunderstanding then so be it. I'm pretty confident the majority of vets here happy to have you.

My question is why do you have to be the one to "follow the rules" when others don't have to?

Well hot damn! I go to sleep and the SHTF in this thread! TJ temporarily back from the dead, hackles raised, negreps thrown so fast they morph into posreps!

As for the question of if it is difficult keeping up with the laser hobby: I doubt it. There are other laser forums, also he has shown he can easily make a new account for lurking and/or trolling.

Haha, your first paragraph made me laugh

Yeah when I think about it, I'm sure he can maintain the hobby, but personally I'd find it sort of difficult. I actually didn't know there were other laser forums...

Thank you, Michael. Let's have a  and look forward to more productive conversations. I know there is still much to learn from you and the other members and I hope to be a productive member of the forum.

My question is why do you have to be the one to "follow the rules" when others don't have to?

That is a valid question. One that perhaps Avery will answer. But, I do not see the need to have a fit over my revocation. It wouldn't serve myself or anyone. And, I'm sure I'd have been neg-repped to death if I'd have put up a whiny, bitchy post, railing against losing my vet status.

I'll just try to be good and wait out my time in the best way I can.
