I see that Tech Junkie still has enormous grip on the forum, despite being banned for almost what, two years now?
He makes a new account, blurts some 4 posts out of his a$$ for sh*ts and giggles and boom, 4 pages of drama. Repz to IE for putting it plain as it is. I specifically remember TJ referring to his reputation and post count as "my green gems all mine mine mine" (that's an actual quote).
In any event,
SBA - if you ask me, you ain't revoked from anything. A "veteran" is an imaginary term people around here throw around. It's so loosely defined that the only reason it's still being used as a word around here is for the lack of a better one describing "somebody who probably knows their laser sh*t".
I will disagree on your opinion how some new tech pops up there first, before being let on the public. Seriously, you aren't being blocked from any access to anything new or exciting, unless you consider donating three-figures to new projector murder funds exciting.
You got skills and enthusiasm. The diversity of stuff you've built is larger than some official "veterans". You're perfectly able to help out any new person looking for help starting out in the hobby, and you do so frequently.
You are a veteran to me.
Now, since it's f**king 900°C outside on majority of Northern hemisphere, everybody grab a cold one and chill
