PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please sub

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

I was VERY interested in that LPM for all my assorted HeNes, MLs and future tests. However I saw the 7 bids and that you are too so I figured I shouldn't.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

I will bid on #3 if no one is :)

I sent that guy a message asking why he has them and what else he might have since he doesn't live that far from me.

Update: I don't want #3 anymore, I am talking to the guy right now. He use to be into lasers when his kid was doing science projects but they have just been sitting around so he is selling them. Seems like a real good guy.

by the length of #1 i'm guessing it's multimode if the output power is correct. one is not going to get that power with a tube that length single mode. i have one that size that does 12mW, and it's bare
edit: #2 prolly mm too

this means worse (but not bad) divergence

Sorry Pschollser I accidently bid up your HeNe from my phone, thought it was number #4. :/
If I ended up costing you more for the HeNe let me know and I'll send you the difference.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

lol. no worries. I'm dubious it really puts out 30mW. We will see where it goes, come closing time. Are you high bidder?

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Oh wait, wrong HeNe (again) I bid on #1 by mistake. Pictures didn't load on my phone.

I thought when you said a lot you meant 9mW, I missed that 30mW one

I outbid Livinloud then, sorry :( Same offer to you, if I ended up costing you more for the HeNe let me know and I'll send you the difference. I bid 15$

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

I was messing around with some of my lasers and I decided to try color mixing.

My 125mA 405nm + 400mA 650nm = Hot Pink?!

So I am thinking I should get an RGB unit. Took a look on ebay but there is just so much. I think I recall someone mentioning one they enjoyed around here but I can't remember when or where. So if anyone knows of a good one(needs to be very affordable because I just dropped lots on hosts and a 520 diodes) I would be interested in hearing the details.

I would like it to be able to do a good number of colors if possible.

^^^ hope that 'good number' is seven cause that's the limit
R G B & Yellow- magenta - teal and white(ish) 7

with analog you get millions

they cost a lot moar
Whenever analog is being sold you will see 'ANALOG'-
every time- no exceptions.

when you see 'full color' but not 'analog' its really only 7 colors-ttl only-
every time no exceptions.

Thanks,
Isaac

I have a PHR + 650 red form Sunclan- NOT pink- its magenta.

Not sure what you mean by 'RGB unit.' - but I think you want a base with three modules and the dichros/mirrors -right?

But as you read below by BB= go with techood-same items as laserlands
same or better price and much more deserving our biz tha llands.

AixiZ now sells the three small ttl modules alone- matching- the red is 638 they are cheap and ship from Houston- the dichros form the Kasio optic train work well for the price-- base can be an Al 'thawing plate' (thrift stores)of a piece of Al plate or plastic peg board with1/4th holes on one inch centers- attach that to a wood base and paint black-

bam!

poor mans optic table--

wannaburnstuff: Don't get Laserlands. They've proven themselves incompetent with their mislabeling -- and defending -- of their 445nm lasers as 473nm lasers; their prices are also worse than the competition. Check out Techhood's stuff. They're generally cheaper than the competition and the shop does a pretty good job in general. I'd prefer one of those lasers with the 638nm laser in it, because then you'd get more red out of your unit than the 660nm variants. You can also try swapping out the laser yourself.

Cheech is sending me some dichros with my purchase and I am going to buy some individual modules and try and set something up. Now I need to go find a post of cheech's to rep! That guy is very standup guy to buy from!!!

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

YEAH his is a great member--
Most any major Kasio Harvestor will sell you the optic train.
has FS mirrors- dichros and soon someone will use most of this to combine RG&B

requires only removal of one FS mirror and making a hole to allow one beam to enter the train- very unlikely it will be great for a projector but could be a excellant & easy way to combine RGB for a lumia or spiro as you do not really want perfect stacking for those uses.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

I'm getting those 70pcs red laser lots. You can make cool stuff with lots of low-powered lasers.

What size and power??
I still have some tiny 405s if you want some- pay for ship & they are yours free- I just sent ten tiny reds to a guy who may use them for a pair of red laser gloves-- i have LOT of those >100.
