Hak, I may drop you a PM about some of those violet diodes. I have thoughts of knife-edge arrays with lots of fluorescent doo dads and stuffs.

sounds like one of my way-too-many ideas- I actualy collect dayglo and GITD items just for my 20 blacklights and 405 lazors!! WE willhave to chat about all that when we hold our POP-UP LEM in DFW-any with interest needs to PM me...

at most it will be just one day/night- but still lots of fun and we will work on making the next TEXLEM a reality--

Those little power meters look like something you could use to see if you have a temperature lol. But that is pretty cool!

Yeah. They are small enough to through them in your pocket. Im always picking up lasers at stores and what not that seem to bright. Just pull out my lillt lpm and test it

That's a great deal for that meter, it probably cost over over 1,000$ when new.

Here's the way I see it happening: I lay the LPM on the counter, so it doesn't shake around. I pull out my 1300 gram MS-SSW and point it over the LPM to check it out. The monster slips from my hands and kills the little LPM dead, as if it were a little bug.

Best I save up for the Ophir and buckle everything down on my bench. :crackup:
