PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please sub

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

I just ordered an 05T for half the price of a 7A75 and the guy I got it from said he is getting 07E pulls in the low 80 dollar range so that's about right.
He said he is putting in another order, I'm going to take it slow and see but I love the price, I get the feeling the Chinese have a lot more coming.

I will post some beam pics when I get it and I may pull the Gball and try correcting it, just have to work with it and see.
BTW anyone else have any de canned Gball diodes that are working well or that have quit?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll sell mine for $500 if anyone is interested.

So what new is out there?
Some big TO-3 doing 15 watts?
I know as soon as I buy a couple blocks the next wave will come out LOL, I still have some perfectly good 130 builds, they look so cute now, like a little baby laser beam.
Seriously, anyone reading this know that any laser over 5mw is very dangerous and proper laser safety glasses are a must. But I did buy more 130's than I needed, and I am afraid to sell a working finished laser to anyone because well, people do stupid stuff and I don't want something I built being used in said stupid activity.

Nothing new that I know of. I just haven't used my array. I'd actually sell it for $450 + actual shipping costs.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Was this for the host you had designed and offered to others for one of these blocks as a group buy, if enough were interested, but never built? I'd love to buy this from you but cash flow is slow for me due to the price of oil being so low, that's the industry I support in my job.

I still have no clue what your avatar is a photo of, what is that?

I'd recognize that anywhere, Lawrence livemore national laboratory. That's their short pulse laser I think.

Edit: Found it. http://news.softpedia.com/news/New-...e-Fast-Motion-in-the-Atomic-World-55277.shtml

Ultron, that article's incorrect in having that image. This thing definitely isn't a laser, and it's here in New Mexico at Sandia National Labs. It's called the Z-machine, and it's an extremely powerful pulsed x-ray generator. Check the awesome image gallery out: Sandia National Laboratories: Z Pulsed Power Facility: Image Gallery

Sandia does similar research to Livermore's NIF, so the mistake is reasonable to make. There's nothing at NIF that looks quite like this though. Here's the thing you're likely thinking about: https://lasers.llnl.gov/science/photon-science/arc

Congratulations AlienLaser :D

These say they are brand new, Ar coated for 532, that will likely work with 450 won't it?
I want to get one that's adjustable with the relay/middle lens.

Anyway I wonder if we could do a group buy, if there will work on my 450nm corrected Gball. They say brand new/never used. That's a big plus to me.

Any thoughts?

Here's the BE add.

Ohh, that price is attractive.

But what would the point of a GB be? There's no "Make an offer" option.
I suppose you could contact the seller separately, but that would be circumventing eBay's rules.

Also, 594.1nm REO HeNe

Starting bid is $200
Ends in 5hrs

Wow that is great! Hopefully someone has bought one already and can give us a little insight on it. But it is from Israel and according to TheJoker, the Israeli post office will change the tracking number 2-4 times and forget to ship it out for 2 months....

time to Sniper bidding :eg:....(a d!ck move and many people hate it....but well seeing no one is bidding on it!!!).

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

WOW, how cheap will these get?
What is about to replace it?

Seriously what is about to be the new WOW right after I order 3 of these LOL

THIS

and THIS

I am foaming at the mouth here, I'm just going to get one before they all get bought up, these may be about to get discontinued?
My question is it because of low sales? Because I see that limit of 5 on other adds, it that just a sales ploy?

I can't stand it, I'm going to order one.

EDIT:
Wow that 2nd add started selling and he jacked his price up 125 dollars, but I found another one and pulled the trigger for 385 with free shipping, I just couldn't pass it up, but are these going to be discontinued or something? Could they possibly get cheaper....not much, I think 385 was a good deal.

I bought mine HERE

This should be fun, I may need to update my security bits, or break out the dremmel LOL.

I may play with the chunk before I tear it down.

Do you think this will work with 445 or 450?

How does it attach? I mean, one would have to have an adapter made I suppose?
