Wow, this is such a nice thing that members do for each other! Makes me smile :)
Not just a bunch of keyboard warriors throwing their opinions, weight and knowledge around like on other forums. Wish I had a LPM to add to the mix and help other members. With my lasers I would need up to a 3W reader. Range 405nm to 808nm & 3mW to ~2800mW If I ever get a LPM I will let you know right away!!

The way things are rapidly changing I wouldn't consider anything that couldn't do what an Ophir can. With 7W+ diodes that are relatively inexpensive for the output and more people realizing what a projector can do vs. a TV I expect great things to come.

Please remove IsaacT. He no longer has an LPM. If there is anyone else near Central Texas please let me know.

Thanks,
Ben

Im in portland too. I have a radiant x4 that really doesn't do too well on lower mW. But anything over 50mW reads pretty well.

I'm in Laramie, WY, 82073, and can measure anything up to 5W with my nospin ophir sensor LPM. Just PM me and I'll be glad to help in any way I can.
