And i know you said it had bad divergence but you think it would be usable for a scanner with out a prism pair correction optics?
i saw the picture and i know they can be misleading but i am looking for any good new red for my projector. i want to put 2 together threw a cube although if the beam is rectangular i might knife edge it to make it square.
Well to combine through a cube the beams have to be one vertical one horizontal. Will end up looking like this + but then you can't prism correct.
If you use a wave-plate though you can get both the beams to go through a cube horizontally. Then you can correct it from this = to this :
I'm guessing same as the multi-mode 445's the best lens to use with a prism pair will be the near focusing 650-g-1
