^Looks like 24 by my count..

Thanks DTR! I'm very glad that no crazy surprises like potting were encountered.

Thank you DTR. I appreciate your doing this. Donated to lpf because this is a great place to learn for the hobby. Sorry i couldn't chip in, bought a house last thursday

Thanks as well DTR.....I figured they would be about the same...I agree with ElektroFreak and am glad there wasn't any potting.
Let the (safe)FUN continue!:wave::thanks:

Itll be interesting to see if the diodes run differently like the 130s and 140s seem to. Was there any confirmation that the 130s and 140s diodes were any different? I dont remember seeing anything but I know people tend to only run the 140s for the very high current builds.

DTR: I tried to +rep you, but "I need to spread the love" according to the forum software.

Thanks for doing this.

It seems like the 140's are a little bit more efficient and can handle higher currents.

^^^ what they all said--TY

Could the OP have just been messing with our heads??

No photos of kidnapped person
No ransome will be paid.

Now about that new XJ-A- 160........J/k

Just to be clear that there has been no serious testing done on these. I just quickly hooked one up to my power supply and ran a quick visual and LPM test. There will be some more scientific testing coming.;)

Also for all that have diodes I have them packaged up and ready to ship out tomorrow.

Well DTR you never know what surprises these things my still hold. But even so it's cool.

So who's Ignis Fatuus?

When I get my diode, I should be able to measure the wavelength with +/- 1nm accuracy as well as the power output. I'll post my results here when I'm finished.

Edit, this is my 445th post. How coincidental :p

What a waste, just out of the pack and now ready for the garbage trash. :D
