I think you will find that those who chipped in for this 150 are also some of the same ones who send donations every month to keep this forum alive--not saying anything bad about those who cannot afford to donate or the many who help in so many other ways-- I apoligize if I hurt anybodies feelings. nothing personal meant.

It is daytime but I do not perceive a difference in wavelength and if there is it is minor. Here are some quick testing I did with a G-1 lens. I just ran @ 1A then turned it to 1.5A.:beer:

So I will go out on a limb here and say it was what we expected the diodes have not been changed. They still may be binned higher but only thorough testing will tell on that score. One of the good things that came out of this is that this is there newest model fresh from the factory and there is still no potting on the diodes. I would think if they were going to start doing that this model would have it for sure. Since we have not seen a picture of an actual potted one then I would still call it speculation.

Thanks to all those that pitched in to help get this info for the community. Also there is a chance these may drive down the cost of the 140 model and that would be sweet.

To me this is not a letdown but just the way we learn.
