The real output of Priceangels lasers

my purchaser tell me this kind of laser is from suzhou. Is the factory so famous in LPF? but we have never heard of it in china. moreover, I never heard of CHI before I come to LPF, even I had been in changchun for 5 years .

What surprise me most is that some companies which are not so famous in china enjoy a good reputation in Lpf

My guess is the companies that would be famous in China would be the ones whose lasers are sold on sites like DX, PA, FP, and others.

The people browsing these websites are not likely to pay the premium for a premium laser (after all, they are trying to find a DX-level of price) from CNI, Viasho, or a similar well-reputed company on LPF.

It would be a phenomenal experience to travel to China and spend a week in their electronics regions :) I hope to do so some day!

Contrary to what Trevor's said, DHOM (the only optics manufacturer in Suzhou that uses that design of driver/head, is a very respectable, if not-so-well-known company.

This is their website:

??????????????

Click the English button.

This is their (very small) eBay store (even Viasho has one now!):

diode laser items - Get great deals on 532nm Lasers, 473nm Lasers items on eBay Stores!

And even CT Lasers (one of the more respected laser light show parts suppliers) stocks them:

CT. Lasers / DHOM

Sure, they might not be as well-known as CNI or Viasho, but they certainly don't just spew out garbage either.

If this unit is actually up-to-spec (and seeing some previous reviews of DHOM products, not too unlikely), then it'd be a very good price on a solidly-built 1W green.

Yeah - I wasn't saying they're bad. I was trying to say that I would think the ones John might be familiar with would likely be the ones that made most of their money on DX, FP, and PA.

I don't think this is the case with CNI (as John demonstrated), Viasho, DHOM, Jetlasers, and perhaps Lasever.

Just to clear that up. :p

But to tell you the truth, neithe DX nor PA is famous in china. If you ask 100 men in a street of china, whether they now DX or PA, 99 men will tell you "NO", and the only man who knows them maybe John. HAHA

We don't sell products to chinese, for they are not used to shop online.

I am trying to say that the companies that are going to seem more "famous" to you are those that you hear about and whose products you sell. :p

yes, it is the point,
sometimes language problem is reall a big one for us to understand each other completely

Hi John, i have received one of them from priceangels, and have to say that is not so good, sorry.

I received it in this condition (yes, the head was unscrewed and rattling in the box, but i suppose it can be for the shipping, cause in the one that i've received, the head only screw on the body for 1/4 of turn, not more)

as you can see, it's this same unit

And i've tried it with 3 different batteries, the one in the box, a trustfire protected cell, and a primary Panasonic CR123, the results does not change, it push out 48mW unfiltered, and 26mW filtered.

Yes, half of the power is infrareds ..... i noticed a splash of dark red light around the green dot, so took a pair of pics after the measure, for see the infrared profile ..... first image is the dot unfiltered (the "white" part is that what you see dark red with eyes, the camera see it as white), the second one is the infrared part, after filtering away the green.

It looks as a defective unit, for me.

just a quick question
i didnt notice these two lasers on the list
but im really interested in these because my friend has the same thing from DX (really good) and you have the same model for cheaper
Focusable 200mW Green Laser Pointer with Safety Key Lock (1*18650 Battery Included) $29.28 Free Shipping
(the model on DX)
and
200mW 532nm Adjust Focus Mid-Open Green Laser Pointer with Safety Lock(1*18650/1*CR123A Included) $38.99 Free Shipping

i was wondering about the "true" output for these two lasers
thanks

Thanks for asking that question, Blue. I am interested in both of those as well.

Hello, John7788, help me with my order, I am the regular customer of your site, 2 weeks ago I have ordered in you 2 laser projectors (the order 0323KTNB) and till now they at you aren't present available, I letters on your site to replace with other goods, but to me for some reason don't answer. If that I have ordered that till now wasn't present, I would like to change for these goods (SKU: 76218 SKU: 79090 SKU: 85974 SKU:70090)
Yours faithfully, Igor.

In Sept, I ordered the Priceangles UltraFire 500mW 532nm Back-Open Handheld Green Laser Pointer WF-502C(1*18650 Included)
Item# 7904, and when tested, it seems is a 75-100mW laser inc. IR, but at the price, I am really only put out that they were advertising it as a 500mW, otherwise, not too bad at the price... -Glenn
