Just like CPF already did, please remove dinodirect.

some reasons:
1. they ask a membership of a X dollars a month, just to get the normal prices that are still higher then other sellers.
2. They lie EVERYWHERE:
fake reviews.
lies in answers on forums.
Lies about shipping that can be faster with a membership.
Scam with the 50% off.

3. Bad customer service.

Enough reasons to delete the ad on top of LPF IMO.

Yeah, unless the forum's server functioning is dependant on the money
from their ads, I say good riddance.

If you don't like them, don't buy from them. It's not LPF's responsibility to monitor and respond to the operations of its sponsors. Hell, the same could be said about Wicked Lasers, but so long as they're paying the bills, there is no problem. Anyway, a sponsor will usually stop advertising if their sales aren't meeting advertising expectations.

Easy for you to say, since you know they suck. However, a newbie might not know any better.

I also feel their ads should be removed. Having LPF's members go there knowing they are a shitty company is bad :(

I bought a few things from them, about half showed up busted. I tried contacting them to RMA the crap but all I got were ridiculous messages like "charge the batteries, dear" and "the green light should be lit when function, is the light lit?"

After going through all of their dumb e-mails telling me to try everything anyone with half a brain would try they dropped all communication with me.

Not a good company to deal with at all.

ads are needed to pay for LPF. however members are always free to openly discuss any company negative or positive. regardless of who is advertising. and threads like this will always be OK b/c we have great freedom of speech here.. if u dont like an ad u see, u can do just this lol. as long as stuff within the ToS obviously (no threats, violence, etc).

thx for ur understanding all (if u put urself in my shoes). one good phrase "buyer beware". and yes the ad agreement good reference on that. had to pay a lawyer to make that a while back and ads pay for lawyer fees /server cost/ etc=)

peace and have a good weekend
best regards

We all know Dinodirect is full of crap. It became painfully obvious with their "50% off" sale, when they hiked up the prices on everything in their store.

I know i'm not going to buy from them, and only a fool would fall for that scam. So they aren't taking advantage of me.

Banners have been around since i first hopped on the internet like 15 years ago. We've all learned to not believe what they say. So if Dino Direct is willing to help out the forum financially while making themselves look like fools, that's perfectly okay with me.

It's better to rely on the "companies" and "deals & discounts" section to find a good source of goodies.
the majority of people here have common sense, and are fairly intelligent. I think we can manage to keep revenue from those banners coming in without falling for their lies.

The only reason I bought anything from Dinodirect is because it was the only "cheap china crap" website I could find that would take something other than paypal.

Consequently, does anyone have any suggestions for another "cheap china crap" website that takes something other than paypal?

Dino is CRAP --- I ordered a laser to get a specific host only for a project. Ordered on 11/26 -- Shipped 12/6 and now nothing. Their web page is a whirlpool of brown CRAP. Their "chat" is useless. Dump their rotting carcasses into the ocean.
MAX BAD SELLER -----
WARNING ---------------
Sorry -- I'm gone but you need to know
HMike

i cannot remove any ads that are under contract at this time. if other companies wish to advertise they can. it is not like other companies didn't get a chance=)

these ads help pay for legal costs and forum hosting costs. the forum is not possible without ads.

users are always free to talk negative or positive about any companies like this

happy new year all

best regards
