Ah, you're right, it's the B model, I just mis-read it. Still it is quite a steal. Btw itmf you remove the frontmost aperature ring on these cylindrical heads, the PCB underneath has a gauge telling you how much life is left hour-wise.

Sorry spaz - but I had to post this...

There will be a JDSU Argon in this with PSU and fan. I negotiated the seller down to an offer of $120, but just dont have the cash at the moment... so if you offer that, I'm sure he will jump.

Its a Beckman Coulter Laser module... I've downloaded the Beckman catalog, and this model is the same as the last one I picked up with a 25mw multiline in it...

Update - Sorry boys - I gave you a shot... but I couldnt stand it and I snapped it up this morning.. I figure the parts alone are worth the investment for spares..

Just for the new folks who may be reading this...

There are no guarantee's with the ebay auction - it may or may not work... most likely will take some DIY to get running. Mine wouldn't lase out of the box and needed a tube alignment...

Buying from Crazyspaz, however - you know you are getting a working laser setup - hence, you pay a bit more... but you have a lot less stress! :)

Coulter Epics Laser Flow Cytometer -

I've taken one of these things apart and it's a treasure trove of electronics including mini high voltage power supplies, photomultiplier tubes (good for making a scintillation counter), a mini barcode scanner (diode laser based), a stepper motor or two, and more pneumatics than you can shake a stick at.

Those have been for sale for months and haven't sold due to the fact that they are dead, not working, broken, etc........

Huh, I have seen listings like that before, but buried in the description is some "you are only paying for one laser" kinda BS. Too bad it got snagged already, I would've gotten it...
