PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please sub

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Just to confirm everyones suspicion on the RGB module and LD diode for $8.99 and $7.99 respectively.

The seller, tlgnjackb52, is no longer an ebay member and the item information is no longer available.

Oh well, it's my new version of a savings plan. :)

For anyone else who bought either of these, you might requexst refund now.

That's a bummer, it's kind of what was expected, but it would have been nice if it turned out to be real!

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Sent my request for a refund in, ebay asked me to leave a message for the seller before I could send the request for refund. What? They already canned them.

It is the automatic process...
Just play along...
I usually get informed when I bought something
on eBay and the member has been removed.
Haven't received any warnings yet but will start
the refund process today.

I'm not really surprised by the seller being removed.
I was 90% expecting it.

well, it took almost a month but i got the sanwu beam expander i ordered off ebay in the mail yesterday. i ordered it right before i found sanwu's real website,(ebay listing sold it as an attachment for the Thor M2) and i have been wishing i had just ordered straight from them. delivery probably would have been only a week :/ heres a video of my ebay gatling 445nm from across my yard with it installed. it definitly makes the beam wider, but i need to mess around with it some more to see what i can actually do with it as far as distance burning.

That would be awesome looking, I feel as though it is a bit too big for some handhelds though, on the side that is. :)

It would be simple to wire, though. It states it is for +12 volts, but I have others that are rated for that that light with only a single Li-ion battery. It is 16mm in diameter, but doesn't state the clearance. As long as the host will take 18650 batteries or larger it should work, on the side.

thoughts on this one? its 12mm (fits a 12mm hole) and again 12v. and yea, its super easy to wire. just watched a yt video explaining it and i feel stupid for saying i didnt know how

This one looks problematic to me. It is 12mm in diameter, but looks to be at least 30mm deep. Electrically, I see no problem, but I doubt it would fit.

Now why would you say such a thing? Just angry and trying to pick a fight? Or trying to bait me into retaliation? Whatever the reason, I don't care.

Yea, side switches in general are a pain to install in the first place. The wiring itself isn't the hard part as Paul said (in some cases, it can get pretty messy for the LED ones), it's having to shove your fingers in the housing and trying to get everything in place. Also the mounting hole can be annoying to machine, that part of the host has to be big enough, etc...
