Anyone looking for DPSS parts? These units have some good stuff in them, or for a project. Not an easy project thought, requires two TEC controllers, a large TEC and heat sink for the 808nm 20 watt laser diode bar, a 25 amp 2 volt constant current power supply, read more about them at this thread:

Here's the ebay listing for them, two remain. Offer 125 dollars and you will probably get it, I did:

These might be called 2.5 watt, but they really put out 1.75 watts.

Great price, but what a project, although far easier than designing your own DPSS.

... was unable to fund the array--no bids-relisted and some array sellers are taking offers...
two non working 473 (?spectrometer) laser units-- Orum Utah-- one bid at each so far( ~$5 and ~$9)--~34 U$D to ship each- might combine if you win both. lots of good parts- hosing may be re-purposed- missing side panel (had Co.'s logo)

Agreed. I guess it would depend on how complete the unit is and how much you'll need to add to get it functional again. Fro what I saw it looked like a great deal for $125.00 plus shipping. Is yours one of those projects for the future?

I actually bid on this and was supposedly outbid, so if they are back on, I wouldn't trust this seller as far as i could throw him.

^^^^ dang! we are seeing lots of shady dealers.... sent eekbay message today to '0ur' seller about tracking on our $9 RGB 400.. the sellers FBack has not changed-
listing says 0 left--10 sold----

the listing is 'not' typical of others scams-- no doubt some list items they have never even seen--

the 'blatant' use pix w/o bothering to photoshop the watermarks.. the 400 mW pics look 'real' meaning at one time (at least) they had a working laser to take pixs...but way too many other red flags... 2 days left til soonest delivery for mine (other small items from China ordered ... last date is 6/28...
why is listing up with 0 left to sell??

has anyone gotten any reply from them

The seller calls it a DPSS laser, but it looks like a FAP.

That's what I am trying to decide, is it a ytterbium doped fiber laser or a fiber carried laser, it could be part of the seed pumps for a fiber laser system, he did say 12 amps at 5 volts with home CNC beam quality but I am afraid it's just the knife edged pumps, if they were fused biconic coupled pumps that would be fine and as good as a single emitter, it will need a lens but that should not be difficult so long as its not knife edged or bundled, if it has 4 x 7.5 watt pumps joined via fused biconic coupling then it's good to go.
