Re: Mario's class IV 445nm Kryton + projector pics

Btw the one shot with a green laser in it was my Spyder I @ 250mW

Re: Mario's class IV 445nm Kryton + projector pics

im puttin all pics of 445nm in my facebook folder

Re: Mario's class IV 445nm Kryton + projector pics

Thanks for sharing Mario. got a pic of which pins are pos and neg?

Re: Mario's class IV 445nm Kryton + projector pics

Pinout is the same as a PHR-803t diode, case neutral :)

Re: 445nm "sled" pics

Yes the lenses are AR coated glass, and your existing BR glasses will work for this wavelength. I use my yellow glasses from Scopeguy.
Sweet. How hard would it be to put one of these in an aixiz module?

Re: 445nm "sled" pics

I should have it mounted and tested by Saturday... :)

The diode and lens is on it's way from SpiderFire. (shipped today)

Re: 445nm "sled" pics

Oh man, with all this new info, it makes me even more anxious! I can't wait to get one of these. I'm thinking about getting one of Jayrob's CR2 hosts. They look so badass  So, any info on what SHOULD be a safe current for these? I was planning on 350-400mA.

Re: Mario's class IV 445nm Kryton + projector pics

I'm subscribing to see if anyone finds a solution to the dx clickies.

Re: Mario's class IV 445nm Kryton + projector pics

That should be about 850 mW after a 405-G-1!

Re: Mario's class IV 445nm Kryton + projector pics

Great pictures!!!
How does the apparent brightness of 445nm @ 650mW compare to your 250mW Spyder I in person?

Re: Mario's class IV 445nm Kryton + projector pics

These diodes just continue to amaze

Give us some information about lens, diameter, thickness, and off course results comparing to your other lenses. :D
