Im in..... But there should be a limit. Ive done secret santa before and ppl get butt hurt. The limit should be like 10 or 15 usd. Its a great idea, and shouldnt be tarnished because of money.

This is one of the reasons I brought this up so early. I cannot agree enough. I know there will be some people that just wont be happy with what they get. For now this is up for discussion. At the same time I do not want to see anyone stretch their wallet to join. (Maybe brackets are not a bad idea)

On the other hand... as RHD said I agree there should be some sort of way to decide who is reputable enough to join. (I would like to hear suggestions on this) I don't have any ideas yet besides limit this to vets only. I dont want to see it come down to that. (HEY! That would exclude me! )

Perhaps we could make it available to everyone and if anyone is questionable we can discuss it? I dont know.

seems like fun, i don't have enough posts or rep i bet but

my 2 cents would be make the limit $20-$30
because i know if i was doing it i couldn't afford to send someone a $100 laser
and if i received something like that id feel like a a$$

Then that middleman would be stuck with lots of shipping! Anyway, what's wrong with the traditional secret santa method? Less shipping costs.

i think there should be some set of rules... if your sending a 10-15$ gift half way across the world, it might be worth its cost in shipping
i think it should be by country, certain amount of rep, and a gift minimum
e.g for me, USA, not enough imo, and gift minimum should be atleast 10$.

Also I think there should be min and max. It looks like you already have the max set at $100, so I think it needs at least $30 or $40 minimum so people won't do something really cheap. (I'd like to think no one here would, but it's better to have a set rule just in case)

$20-$40 seems like a pretty reasonable amount. However I doubt I'd get to join seeing as I've joined fairly recently :beer:
But just my $0.02 with that amount it could range from a few sleds to a pretty interesting host.
