Your score:
Normal - If you scored 0-19 you have a healthy outlook and reasonable approach to your laser hobby – you are also more likely to make regular donations to the forum and are concerned when the monthly goal is not met

Treatable - If you scored 20-29 you more than likely have a treatable form of a Laser Forum STD (Social Tendency Disorder) – you are less likely to make donations to the forum and do not worry if the donation goal is met or not

In Need of Immediate Intervention - If you scored 30 or higher you have progressed into a most virulent contagious stage where everyone with which you have been in contact will have to be tested to insure that you have not given them a Case of the CLAP (Coherent Light Addictive Preoccupation) as well.
Not only do you not make donations to the forum, you are most likely actively trying to hack into the donation thread in an attempt to divert the funds to your PayPal account.

Ehrm... is having 8 questions, with numbers missing just to mess with my head?

Also... apparently I'm normal.

I think this is one of only a few tests that I ever scored normal on... :tinfoil:

Edit: That's better, phew, with the updated, and added questions I'm now treatable. There are a few doctors who would disagree with that assessment, but what do they know :p

Btw, and well past 30, if you add up the numbers in a given question, as opposed to just selecting that one option :tinfoil:

Oh, I thought this was serious for a second.

Someone on PL did a serious one, to try and see if there was a link between health disorders and laser obsessions.
Mixedgas needs data- poll attached

I scored 18.
Edit: Make that 19.

You have your laser orders sent to your office, to a friend’s house or you rent space at FedEx or UPS so that your wife, parents, and probation officer won’t know how many and how often you are buying lasers
I am guilty of this one. :p I used to have a separate PO Box and PayPal for buying lasers...

Heh... I have stuff sent to my office all the time. Beats having to go to post office to pick it up, no element of hiding.

A friend of mine wrote this tonight, it describes perfectly how I feel though:

I hate articulating why my hobby is an addiction I embrace.

I scored 10 :D

Mostly because I'm not all that into pointers anymore, and lab lasers cost a damn fortune :D

I scored 10... "apparently" normal because prices are not mentioned in the test ;)

19, I have things shipped to work to hide my spending

I'm borderline, but no worries I intend to be terminal quite soon :D
