As a note, since I'm leaving the hobby the only thing I'd do with the diode is end up selling it... and despite needing the money, I find that completely unfair, so I would like to opt out of being in the drawing.

Update from the guy who is testing the optical side of the diode - he hasn't received the diode yet. Not unheard of for Canada Post to take this long

I do not like Canada post. I have had some lost. I hope you have insurance on it! Some get there fast and some can take 30 days or more
