Eh, seems reasonable to me. I'm too busy with school to do anything during the week, and for the past little while other life obligations and expectations have been keeping me busy on the weekends.
He's in a similar situation at the moment. It can be hard to find a few hours to do tests during the week when there's other, more pressing things to take care of.

If everyone doesn't want to wait the couple weeks we can do the draw right now and forget about the optical test results, but to me this has always been a GB for new information on the diode, with a draw; rather than a draw with information on the new diode.

That's just my opinion though, let me know what you guys want :)
 





well, maybe we could find out who won so everyone can stop holding in their pee, then only one person will have to deal with the amplified anticipation experienced while waiting for the testing to be done

Man i hate those things....with their stupid squacking and pooping everywhere. I dont understand why its illegal to shoot them.

The problem with that is I don't want this to turn into "XYZ's diode is being tested" rather than "the communities diode is being tested"
It doesn't happen often, but if COD or ESD or soothing happens to the diode XYZ would be upset if the diode was already his. That's why I like to put the draw off till after the testing is done.

Your logic is flawless. You are correct, I would be upset if MY diode gets fried before I get it.....

Also, a couole of weeks is reasonable to me as well. For some of us to squeeze a couple of hours into a busy schedule could easily take weeks.

So what your saying is that I will get my diode in two weeks? The name is Jmillerdoc, not XYZ BTW.

I did wavelength, power, voltage and current tests. The person I sent the diode has an extensive optics collection and he wanted the diode to test which optics are best suited for reducing the beam size and correcting it.
So far as I know those tests have not been done by anyone on this diode.
