CNI GB #9 New low price on Yellow Laser

Glenn had to go out of town for an emergency. He thought he would have internet access via his phone. He was wrong. He called me yesterday. It will be a few days before he gets back.

If he is delayed any significant time, I'm sure he will call me again.

Peace,
dave

Glenn told me too, Best wishes to you glenn! Hope you can come back soon pal!

I'm likin' the price drop on the 589nm pens. I love having all these colors of pens lasers, and I'm not sure if I can resist adding a 7th color to the collection.

But I'm spending so much on a WhiteFusion kit, argh, what to do?!?!?

Somebody with both a 589 and a 593.5, how different are they truly?

I'll find out as soon as my 589 from GB#7 gets here, pullbangdead. Will compare it to my Vega 593.5.

Also wanting to get in on a 400mw 532 PGL-III-C on this GB.

Yup, just sitting on my hands waiting for Glenn to get back to me (take your time though Glenn.. hope things are OK) -- and hoping the former QC issues have been worked out on the high power PGL greens... (Anyone have any warnings on the matter, or anything I should look out for?)

400mW of 532... do want. I'd go for 500mW, but the price jump I don't think warrants the power jump, and I'd think there's probably a stability tradeoff.

Do you think there's any chance you could get the price list for 635/650nm diodes (c-mount or 9mm) for the next GB?

I was told that there is a stability trade-off.
When I was making my purchase, Glenn quoted me for both the 500 and 400mW versions and told me that CNI says that the 500mW produces a bit more waste heat and recommends only a 1 minute duty cycle.
I went with the 400 and I do not regret it. Of course, I ended up getting the most over-spec laser I have ever seen (200% at peak!) but I think that is the case with most of these units from the GB, since Glenn tries to get the "creme de la creme" for us.

I run my PGL for minutes at a time in cool weather and to this day I am still getting the same power out of it.

A couple people had bad experiences with this model, but if Glenn says it's worked out, I believe him.

Thanks for the advice, RA. Hopefully I can end up with even 75% of the luck you did with the 400mW. Am still waiting for my GB#7 lasers so this still is my first experience with the CNI GB's.

Hopefully there'll be more to come.

look at the prices on the penstyle list decide what you want and PM scopeguy. he might not pm you back for a couple days though. hes busy.

Note that it may take Glenn a while to get to GB#9 orders I'm guessing; he's probably pretty backed up.. (I've got a request for purchase in queue with him on GB#9 for a PGL-III-532)

-- Patience, really; he just got back, probably best to not bombard him.

I have some shipping to do, but I am starting to get caught up. Thanks and remember to PM or email me if you need questions answered. Thanks All! -Glenn

Has this order been placed? If not, I'd be interested in putting in for a PGL-III-C532-400

PGL III -C- 532nm 400 mW is $735 shipped in USA w/ PP fee included. Order for CNI GB #9 to go in about Tuesday next week. -Glenn
