I don't see a crash to sub $10 prices any time soon, the prices above $60 don't seem sustainable either but who knows, there has been a ton of positive press and even though the increases have been large, the slope of the increases have been significantly less than the ones that lead up to the original $30 bubble popping.

Either way I've made money hand over fist from my initial investment in 2011 so I'll probably just hang onto my remaining coins for the hell of it. Buying pressure has been insane, like today a purchase of over 20,000 BTC (~$1.3M) and the market barely even budges.

It is just a gamble now. The people who are now joining in may face large losses. The others who cash out now have a large profits. The money has to come from somebody.

What I am curious about is: what keeps the creator from jumping ship with the money? It is not under any country's jurisdiction.....

Grix did you manage to score big?

Unfortunately not very big.. Due to the store I run I get bitcoins in and out of my wallet all the time, but I don't really keep them for long periods of time to minimize risk. I have made probably $3-400 over the few last months though from sudden price spikes.

At one point just a few months ago I had 108 bitcoins. Would've been worth nearly 30k dollars now.. :cryyy:

I doubt it, this is what a free market looks like. I wish ALL markets were like that but that will never happen

Hm, I had a large limit buy order at $145, couldn't cancel it because of the lag. I wonder what the price is tomorrow, hopefully I won't have lost too much money.
