Tyler I have bought 2 other items off this forum from 2 different people with no prblems. I know in my gut you took advantage of me because Im a noob....THE WIRE WORK IN THAT MXDL(BLACK TAPE)....UNDERPOWERED LD(I BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE FROM A FORUM MEMBER AND YOU CAN SEE THE BEAM AT NIGHT 245MW) YOU SAID YOURS WAS 251MW(YOU COULDNT EVEN SEE IT IN A DARK ROOM) IF YOU COULD'NT BUILD IT RIGHT FOR 115 BUCKS THEN DON'T SELL IT FOR 115. I did not get what I PAID for so I am voting YES![/

Pettty thieves are notoriusly good at doing stupid things. That's why they get caught so often. An example is the simple denial of the marijuana info while hosting the pictures in the same account as his laser pictures.

The 4mW modules is just another example of him doing something for a dollar and not thinking through the ramifications of his actions. There is even more to this story, but I have not been given permission to share it. He is even less intelligent than what y'all know about this snafu shows.

agreed.. what exactly are you waiting for Jerry? It matters not if you vote yes now or vote yes later..... unless............you're possibly contemplating voting no... but that's surely not possible. Is it?

He claims he did not know how to use his Laserbee I.. so either he is full of shit and has lied about the power of all lasers he has sold, or otherwise he has metered all sold lasers wrongly. When the ones he sold Dave were as wrong as being around 4mW when he said they could be pressed to 20mW, it doesn't look good for others - he might have been sending out 80mW PHR builds and claiming they are 400mW 8x builds xD

I know of at least one other that I got to examine. It was sold as a 130mW laser. When we metered it, it came in at a steady 80mW. Also the cold solder joints (with no insulation) broke loose when re-assembling it and I am pretty good with disassembly/assembly

Well, it really isn't too complicated for everyone. I know Tylers type of seller. I see them everywhere in my area. They don't know what being honest is so any of you "neutral" voters need to understand that you are not being the "better person" by not voting. You're just being unwilling to support the forum in deep matters that MUST be attended to.

In other threads, I have seen you say "just because you don't know the whole story, how do you know there isn't one?" If you know the whole story, and you want us to make an informed vote, then tell us all you know.

I just realized something you guys. Guys like Tyler always have buddies that are apart of the black market and whatnot, and most of the voters for no have non to little experience on this website. So I bet that they are people he knows and at different times here and there has showed them this website and they joined but never got into it.

My point is when Cold decides to look at the voters, he should consider the experienced ones more important than the nearly vacant ones.

This forum has a reputation of being able to supply honest and factual
Laser related information to anyone that requests it... be it by researching
the data on the Forum Threads/Posts or by any knowledgeable Member...

Since I did not need to have a Laser Built I had skipped over this Build Thread..

When I read outrageous and exaggerated BS like this...

We make thousands of solder joints a year and our tips that sell for $5.00 to
$7.00 last us a full year if not longer... But he seems to be using better tips
than we are since there are none better... I call BS..

An outright exaggeration/Lie...... unless he is the best Laser builder
the world has ever seen.... with Glass blowing equipment and vacuum
pumps and High voltage test apparatus..

A noob would easily fall for this BS...

it makes my skin crawl.... Knowing that there is a snake like this
duping new members out of their $$$$...

The only thing that will be accomplished is....

1) he gets $$$ for something he can't build properly or professionally
2) the duped member looses his investment on a shoddy build
3) the LPF Forum will acquire a reputation of harboring dishonest Sellers
that prey on noobs

I (or anyone else) really don't need to be associated with this type of
negative oriented reputation...
I've worked to hard in my life to need to accept it... and I don't think
the Forum community should either...

im sure its not dave thats holding back... its probably the people that have been crapped on by tyler that dont want their identities known. he does it out of respect. wouldnt you do the same? i would do it for you...

Maybe if daguin posted that story, the neutrals would vote as well. Why not post the whole story? There ARE some people that are not convinced yet, just because they were lucky and had a good deal with Tyler. A fact which puts them in a dilemma.

What do you have to hide daguin? Since we post every evidence we have, why don't you do that as well? This has lasted for too long and I think everyone is tired of jumping into new threads about Tyler, while browsing the forum the last period. Let's put an end to this. We have more serious things to do here on the forum. It's a place where people are supposed to learn a few things about lasers and not to watch flame wars. I think that's the whole fu**g truth.

and because I'm 95% sure Tyler's laser in an Eghemus host is not 190-220mW. To my knowledge LPF only has two or three members that even own the 200mW o-like small brass modules. Seems like he makes a lot of his LPM readings overspec.

But this acusing many members of being Tyler should stop, it's reminding me of the Salem Witch trials. Guess we just need to wait for Avery to decide...
