405nm laser pointers $2.95 each? wtf? **DEAD** (fingers crossed for orders placed))






Mine still seems to be good, no e'mail yet. I've been talking on trade key and found a deal for 100 green 5 mw modules for $80 ( $30 modules, $50 shipping DHL).
 
If you want to make some kind of effect...
You need to report the seller to eBay as being Fraudulent...
eBay really doesn't want reported fraudulent sellers...

If 100 complaints come in about this one seller... that will
have an additional and greater effect than just the NEG
feedbacks...

I know what I would do if I had sent money to an eBay Seller
in good faith... :cool:

I got that mail some hours ago. So i replied fast and he sent me the refund very fast!

Obviously , he won't send any of those lasers ... :can:
 
Yeah, at least notify ebay, lasersbee is right, if alot of people compain to them about this guy then hopfully he will be delt with accordingly.

ALSO--Motel has 6 Neg FBs already on this item. Also I have heard of pissed off buyers later buying a few items just to get the opp. to leave even more neg FB(heruursciences had that done to himIIRC) . Many buyers dont look at the feed back before they bid. Especially if it is in the high 90s% (motels is 99% atm) and witk 121k+ FBs it would take a lot to lower that %- however if we all negged Motel- those potential buyers/bidders would look elsewhere once they saw so many for sure.

Just to play the devil's advocate for a moment however- price typos appear in print all the time and stores do not have to honor them- usually you see a correction in the print ad later and/or in the store itself.

If I were Motel I would refund all the money to all those who paid and then send one free BR pointer to each with another 'so sorry' note.

I paid for 8 but as yet have not heard anything from Motel.---HAK

Thats what I was thinking- I wonder if the six negs Motel has on these resulted in the buyers not getting a refund--that would really suck!!-----just sayin' -not bitchin' I felt from the get-go it was too good to be true. hope for the best- expect the worst- less dissapointment that way IMO

Just got the email of death. This was my reply.

Bullshit. Either you send me what I ordered, or I'll gather the other100 plus members who bought that laser and bring your feedback down to 0%. We are all on a laser forum, so I know all the people who ordered the laser. Its your error, not ours. Send it or kiss your good feedback good bye. I will also make a complaint with eBay, and PayPal. Send the laser, or I will take full action against you.

I just got the e-mail too, I'm gonna file as many complaints as possible!

This is BS, you make a mistake you pay for it. You can't just run away from it. I've learned that the hard way :D
 
the good news is since march this year, ebay has implemented the "EBAY BUYER PROTECTIONS PROBLEM" and you can open a case against anyone who you would like to dispute against (including if the item you receive does not match description)... the case will go through a level of reasoning ie: (shipping tracking number, the conversation exchanged between buyer and seller, seller's recent reputation. etc.) basically anything that can provide logical reasoning that you may have been cheated on. the best thing is that ebay usually rule in the favor of the buyer (that is, if the seller fail to respond). ebay can refund you and even pay for the return shipping label no matter what.

i have had 2 cases opened through the dispute center and both cases i got FULL REFUND... one time, i brought a cell phone that doesn't work, after the seller failed to respond to my opened case, i escalated the case to an ebay rep and she provided me a shipping label via UPS w/ tracking. after i shipped it back, i called ebay (believe it or not, they provided an actual phone # and a unique pin so i get to speak with a human and not going through the machines) and the rep tracked the package for me. once it shows delivered, she refunded me directly off of the seller's PP without further doo...

the other time i brought a $100 giftcard and after receiving it, i found out the card only had $50 in it... the seller in this case has fled (with a 100% feedback wtf) so i did the same thing, opened the case, (no response) then escalated to the rep. he provided me a shipping label and i printed it out and shipped it back... i tracked it 2 days later when the status became "delivered" and called ebay.. the rep saw it and refunded me from PP. he told me the seller has $0 pp balance and withdrew all the money to the bank. but he refunded anyway and said pp with go after him for the money lol

anyhow, this is not a hard case to deal with because motel268 didnt provide tracking # even if he marked it shipped... in addition, the message he sent and his fvcked up listings and the recent complaints are all evidences against him. neg feedbacks might not phase him (i hate these type of powersellers who **** their customers just cuz they have "QUANTITY") but opened case with be posted to the account forever plus, that's the only way to get our $ back unless he refund himself... but i say fvck him and on top of the neg feedack let's all open a case on him and let ebay deal with his ass! :yabbmad::yabbmad::yabbmad::mad:
