200mW Green Modules @ $39 (Temp, SALE Price)

Eeeek, there's a thread on here from a few months ago about these being massively under spec - I can't search from the mobile app otherwise I'd find the thread. But maybe someone at a PC can do a quick forum search.

If memory serves, this poster had to file an ebay dispute.

200mW pump, maybe. The input current and the output power don't match up.

I just ordered one. I got my first pointer from them 150mw green.

Not bad, burns black bags, never tried to light a match tho.

wasn't thrilled with the build, I had to make a few adjustments to retaining rings and such to get it to work reliably.

I did get it pretty quickly though... 4-5 days IIRC

Sorry - it was the similarity in naming scheme that brought this to my attention, but now that I'm at a regular computer to search a bit, I can see that this is a different seller here. The module I was remembering complaints about was this:
Industrial DIY 150mw 532nm Green Laser Module Spring [Moduel] - $40.99 : wlaser

That said, if this is IQS, I'll add my own experience with them:
- Ordered their #200 green, died after 3 seconds of use (IR went LED)
- They sent a replacement. Crystals weren't aligned, power was ~100mW and unstable. Died in a few weeks.

Looks like a deal worth giving a shot. If he has these for awhile I might give at least one a shot. I need a high power green module for the last piece of a set being built.

The seller counts on your "hell of a deal, lets give it a shot". Just saying ^^

i like this deal...anyone know what it actually put out?

Not until a few of them arrive and get tested ;)

Peace,
dave

P.S. I do not EVER expect a Chinese green module to perform up to spec ;)
