Dave, let me be the 1st to congratulate you (early) on hitting the 10 GRAND mark for posts. It's leadership like yours (& others) that keeps this Forum up-to-date on lasers, handing out advice, some humor, & all the other things that you (& others) so willingly hand out, with kindness & consideration for the rest of us Members. Rob wasn't really THAT premature. Something weird happened in the forum this morning.

Earlier today I was at 9,996 posts. Then this afternoon, 9,978 again <shrug >

^ no, it's just the counter from the self destruction device of the server ..... once it reach 10.000, the whole server where LPF is hosted, including the entire building and some miles around, implodes in a 1cm diameter sphere of neutronium and start to create a black hole .....

..... er .....

..... someone ties Dave hands, or at least pull his pc power plug out, please .....

I have a feeling Dave will be very lonely in there for quite a while yet :p

And nah, your post count will keep rising until you hit 2,147,483,647 (max for a 32 bit signed integer ) :p

Even then I think it still keeps going ... maybe it's 64 bit? :D

Really.

And it's not like you are going to be seeing some other member breaking the 10k post number for a long time.
