@Jaseth, I'm a guy! I trought that it would be funny to do a plane crash ( in an humoristic way). I'm pretty much random, I go to movie then if I see an ads for sandwich il not go to movie and eat the sandwich, like I used to hang w/friends and I suddently leave for no reason...

What's the problem? You are making him look like a terrorist for burning paper planes?!

Not a lot of girls I know are fond of "Donjon de Naheulbeuk", well except my sister, anyway, it is a nice idea to launch a paper plane from a certain height.

I also foresee a nobel prize winning project in which rockets will be launched at a 100km altitude with a hydrogen balloon which would eventually be popped with a mthel, in order to have a higher acceleration.. It would use less fuel for the rocket.

So, a paper plane and a helium balloon?
Hmm,... Does not sound like the most fun I will ever have.
I think I'll pass on this one and if I am going to crash an aircraft in my living room, I'll stick with shooting down Airhogs helicoptors with Airsoft guns.

It's because there are a lot of young members and new members here
on the Forum. This could be construed as condoning that action..

And there are enough Nut Jobs on the earth pointing Lasers at real Aircraft..
(which may be the ultimate demise of hand held lasers in the near future)..
that IMO..it is not a prudent idea to demonstrate a way of practicing this
Plane/Laser artform as an OK activity...

I'm sure ranged units did not mean any harm... but is only bored with life..
(probably bored like the Nut Jobs that point lasers at real aircraft)

Jerry

If parents let their young kids visit this forum it's not our fault. And rangedunits' thread is just for fun. Everyone can realise that. If some1 is stupid enough to simulate a paper plane to a real plane it's not our fault as well ;)

I'm from the US and it sounds like a cool idea to me.
I'd be curious to see if you could pop said balloon from way up in the sky with a high powered laser and then see how long a well made paper airplane would take to land.

with the right breeze it could fly for miles....lol

man you know what type of expander you would have to have.... i have a hard enough time popping a still balloon at 100' with my set up and it has to be very still.... tho 20 feet isn't to bad i may have to try this

This guide will help you to crash planes.

Required Materials

HighPowered LASER
Balloon (filled with Helium)
Sheet of Paper

First of you need to build a plane, use the sheet of paper and make one.

Second step, attaching the baloon to the plane, thats a tricky process, you can glue /tape eachother together.

Step 3, let the plane fly in the room.

4. Grab l'azor

5. Target the plane

6. Aim baloon

7. Pop baloon

8. Succeed to your plane crash.

**6,7,you can use black powder to burn plane down also ;)

Post pics, video from beggening to the crash!
I hope you'l participate.

Ofc this is for Humor only.

You'll find the helium somewhat hard to ignite ... it does not burn at all :D
Hydrogen should be the proper way to go. It's even lighter than helium and burns very nice.
