That's very generous of you. Also sounds like you got quite the load! My friend (about 16) got a rolex with a solid gold bezel, as his dad is in the air force but when he has off time but is stuck in the middle east he will give saudi arabian princes flying lessons, and often as gifts they will give him very nice watches. So after getting 10 or so of these diamond-studded or gold plated rolexes, he gave one to his kid. I'd be pretty siked to get that! XD

I ended up getting some clothes, chocolates, itunes gift care ($50), 500g laptop portable hard drive, and an 80mw ion laser (I got that for myself).

The other toy (a Yaesu FT 950) I am still paying off. Thats my main gift to myself. Would have had it by now but couldnt pass up on the ion laser

oh and a stay in hospital for a few hours christmas eve morning after my little accident on the platform at sydenham station

Although we just got a call from a relative while we are at the coast and apparently our house has been broken into. He says that our rooms have been torn apart, my savings are definitely gone, parents as well probably, my little brother might be lucky and still have his. Probably heading back down there tomorrow to have a look. If I find this bastards that did this

That's terrible! I hope you find who did it, my savings box is locked, but not very well. The box itself isn't very sturdy either. I do have a ka-bar in the drawer, but a fat lot of good that would do me if I wasn't here!
