What did you get for xmas?

Ill definitely do my best :)

Thanks again Yob

On another note , the family decided that we weren't going to get anyone anything this year , but the funny thing is that at the last minute everyone secretly got each other something small and not hoping to get anything in return. it wow'ed everyone this christmas.

Let's see...
I got roughly $450 USD in cash, $140 USD in giftcards, Burton Snowboarding Pants, a book, an elevation lapdesk, and a Wii (which I will return for cash). I decided to not get an Xbox 360 or iPod Touch, but to get cash instead of the Wii.
I hope everyone had great Holidays.

I got a couple long sleeved shirts, a Lyra Gold, A New Multimeter, Half a Mercedez, and I also bought myself....a 1 watt lab green, a 600mW SPYDER, an 80mW 589nm, a 50mW 473nm and a 5 day cruise to Mexico. This Christmas rocks.

Holy cow! that's a lot of money man.. very nice lasers though.

I got a lap desk with a light from harbor freight. :) I need batteries for it though.

500GB western digital portable hard drive, a laser kaleidoscope, $400 midas gift card (my car is always in the shop, lol), and a sign up for an evasive driving course that I couldn't afford in a year.

evasive driving course? LOL as in escaping the cops?

An evasive driving course teaches you, depending on cost and level, how to take corners at high speed, do quick U-turns, avoid obstacles at high speeds, drive off-road and in water/on ice, swerve in and out between moving cars and similar skills. Apart from being extremely good fun it is important training for soldiers, bodyguards and policemen and may also save your life as a civilian, should you one day suddenly have to avoid an obstacle, steer in difficult or slippery terrain or anything like that.
It is obviously very expensive since they need a high-tech training area, good cars which often take damage and very skilled instructors.

I have taken 3 of these lessons myself.. and I can say you have a lot to look forward to! It is really exciting and it gives you much more confidence on the road, while making you aware of how important it is to keep an eye on the road, weather conditions and so on. I have only been driving regularly for about 1½ years, but I am already about as good as my parents (except with things like parking), and that is largely due to these courses, even though I only got 3 lessons.

Also got socks, an external DVD Drive, 4 Best Buy Gift Cards, American Eagle Gift Card, and an Ansel Adam's photograph from my GF. It was an awesome Xmas!

I've been driving a lot for about... 8 years? (2 cars, 100kmi on each plus months of driving minivans for training) I've taken the simpler accident avoidance /advanced highway driving courses available to the general public, but this one is a 2 day anti-terrorist driving course offered by BSR @ summit point raceway, wv. their prices are never under like $1500usd, so this is a biiig deal to me. I never took the driving course that I was supposed to during selection at bragg, so hopefully this will make up for it :D

glad to hear you had fun seb, I can't wait.

A Nintendo Wii woot! Though it is for the whole family to share.
