@mfo: well, I'd appreciate an answer to my PM now. I already apologized.

You know Albert.... Maybe it's the Language barrier or something..

And I'm only telling you this to give you a heads up...;)

But you have done similar things to me on occasion...
Demanding a response... It is quite annoying...
No one owes anyone a response... people usually respond when they
want to... not when they are ordered to...

If I or anyone else doesn't want to respond to your (or anyone elses)
questions then maybe I/they have a reason... Maybe it is to not start
a problem and let it fade away...
I may be wrong... but that's how I perceive it...

When BobH and lasersbee were in their little arguement I posted a link to "The Let Out Your agression Thead" as a joke but that thread got locked.

I think you got me again hehe

I meant that now that I have apologized to him I'd appreciate an answer, not that I want an answer and that I want it now, you get me?

I really appreciate that you point me at the right direction Jerry :)

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to lasersbee again.

One thing I've felt a little guilty about -- I can say I've probably asked a few vets too many rapidfire questions, sometimes due to overenthusiasm... But probably sometimes due to not engaging in "RTFM".

The last thing I'd want to do - to a respected vet on LPF - is become "that annoying guy".

I'm learning, but I know I've put my foot in my mouth a few times here. I still absolutely consider myself a n00b, and I'm still learning the dynamics of this community and I won't be done doing that for a while.

Hopefully that kind of experience, though, will lead to me being able to contribute something of value back, down the line.

I've been on a lot of internet forums over the years, and LPF is unique by far. I don't know what does it, but I can absolutely say it's like no other online venue I've ever been a member of.

Maybe it's something that coherent light does to people. :P

I may have made 5 reviews more than you, but you have a laser collection I've only seen on dreams lol

I can totally relate to what Aryntha said, and I have indeed "rapid-fired questions" at some Veterans before and such.

oh and I admit to getting a nice rubbery one every time I glance at Aryntha's sig :shhh:

peace & thanks

I would like to see a few more key people post here. We've all messed up one time or another. Why not let your laundry hang with the rest of ours?

*Inhales deeply*

I'm a elitist, ball breaking, rude, loud, self righteous, badgering, ranting, hot headed, callus, sarcastic, asshole, troll with a bad attitude.

But...

I'm also an honest, straight forward, funny, entertaining, kind hearted, generous, helpful, lovable, all around nice guy.

It really only depends on the type of person someone is that dictate my behavior. That, and if I'm not feeling well. IE: forget to take my medz.

Having a big laser collection has nothing to do with laser knowledge. Ok you you can see more different colors. (Someone who saw many movies isn´t automatically a movie buff). It only says how much money do you have or how much money you invest in your lasers.

BUT -aryntha- is one of the most serious people from those who joined LPF in the last months!

VERY well stated, and I strongly agree with both of those statements. Aryntha, how long were you a Guest user (or "lurker") before you actually signed up? I was for well over a year  and I'm SO glad that I finally joined back in January. It didn't take much getting used to, and I already felt like I knew a lot of the people (from all the threads/posts I read), but being able to actually contribute is totally different.

peace & thanks
