PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please sub

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

evanpaul06 still hasn't updated the shipping status, but I think that is to be expected from this guy.
If/when the PJ does arrive, I would be willing to sell the diodes to anyone who wants one at a decent price.
If there is more than one LED in there, I'll be willing to sell that as well, but the first one is for me. :D

It contains RED and BLUE LEDs, and 16x of the 9mm 445s, but without G9 lenses.

You're ending up with $50 diodes, basically, plus some LEDs. Good buy I think :)

I don't do this often, but I am going to call this. It looks ... intriguing. And I'd like to know why this one looks so unique, aside from being from the '88. It'd also be my oldest working laser .. if it worked.

Helium Neon Class II Laser 9mW Maximum Output Devices Inc 1988 Made in USA | eBay

Actually I just watched that last night :) (though if you want it you can have it) I think its the gunsight that is used that contains my LD tube if my memory serves. I know roughly how to disassemble it, so I was thinking of grabbing it and then giving it to someone on the forum. $14 isnt too bad for one if nobody else bids.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Ah. I didn't think about it being a gunsight.

I'm not as excited anymore...

Yes, its just a tiny little bugger, mine does about .4mW, the sight has fine adjustment, and is pretty nice for an old sight, but he's not including power so its just the tube it seems.

Smaller than my Uni 1007?

In search of a nonexistant ultracapacitor deal, I stumbled upon some laser stuff at Electronics Goldmine.

Does anyone know what this lens is? The blue tint suggests it is coated for red.

IIRC, these can be pumped with 940nm or flashlamp to get 1300nm range lines. 50mm not a bad size

+5 for the 'discovery'

yeah dublin in just south of Berkeley(they have a great imax theater :D), i actually bought an A240 diode from this guy and it was packaged great and worked like a dream. Also it was shipped in like 2 days to LA. Would definitely recommend this guy.

OK heard back from mebe3D in Dublin Ca. helpful/friendly fellow may be helpful giving names to unlnown optics-

he has only two posts at Pl-EX both back on 08- he says no time for forums- his ebay store and his laser love holography
and I can appreciate that neither forum has much to offer for holo-

did a member win his greenhene??

I thought the price was good as you got both power supplies and he did an expert job repairing the alden plug wire-

a seller to watch IMHO

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Thank you for the +rep! :thanks: No one bid on any of the recent ePay green HeNes. I guess the sellers
were asking too much.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

you are very welcome...

mebe3D is in for the long haul- he does not need to take low ball offers-
he joined the forums on 2008-& made only two posts--

I plan to keep an eye on his listings and post them here--
