PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please sub

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Aren't these the same diode as the A140? So probably only 1.2-1.3W apiece.

IIRC you are correct- i did not see his mistake - my bad-
calling them 1W is better- 2w would be a streach- a freak maybe-
m-150 makes 2+W

yea i misread, thought it was an m140

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

here are a few more- - I have not looked into either of these very far-
w/272 hrs on it ( not much considering the est. lifespan)

Casio XJ A140 DLP Projector 0079767184339 | eBay

the one opening at 200$ looks shakey- sent question to seller about issues and hours-
lots FS with no diodes -read the fine print-
M-140/150s s are still a bit higher priced-

Keeping an eye on this thread. Thanks for the HQ post.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Thanks for putting this out there. Ill keep it in mind.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

anyone have any clue what this is? Datasheets say 9mm diode....but the picture looks like a 5.6 mm diode in some kind of holder, with corrective optics or something...

He has "the" 1W 520nm diode at 3 different prices. That's the cheapest one - maybe it's a projector pull and that thing is some kind of mount?

Also I noticed some datasheets quote max current as 1.8A and some as 1.7A.

That looks like a really cool Russian red. The guy on the page linked to in the description doesn't know
what he's talking about. It's the reflected color that determines the output, not the blue that comes
through. All HeNe mirrors pass blue like that. I don't even think it's possible to get the blue helium lines
to lase with all the neon stripping energy from it. It's probably impossible to get a population inversion in
the heluim.

I just sold my green HeNe tube at half the price

MI, Meredith Instruments, is the seller of that tube you linked, they have good stuff but overpriced IMO. I think many of us would agree with that

i failed oh well try again i suppose

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

That's almost a crime to put that diode in such a poor housing :p

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

TBH I like those square hosts :P Never had one, so I don't know if they can actually deliver the continuous duty cycle announced.

Still worth for a diode pull if you don't like the host. I just wish DTR's would come down in price to around $300, I really want one of those diodes.
