It really isn't that hard to use something like an Arduino Uno to control the ktp and TEC temperatures. That is what I'm doing to control my Half-Note (that I'm still working on), and I am barely a novice with arduino coding...

What was the max power you got out of it?

I don't know, the output was beyond the 2 watt max of my LPM at the time, but it looked like it could have been 3 watts, with my very uncalibrated eyes. it burned wood just as fast as my 4 watt 532 nm labby. this guy will sell three for 300 each, if you want that many. not sure his price for one.

Not enough 561 nm power to get me after it, but would be sublime to have one at any power if not having to pay too much.

Looks like Fleabay finally got ahold of some Sanwu lasers. Here's a spiker for $124

That same seller also has some other interesting items, like that smooth polished brass host but using a greenie instead of a blue.

Either way, its a pretty cheap deal if that's actually a Spiker and not a ripoff.

Like, the host and everything is a knockoff? I wonder what the quality is like. I've always wanted an empty sanwu-esque host to play with:p

Yes the host looks a bit different, maybe ask Sanwu to send you an empty host then? :D

And so the price gouging on these really starts. Sooner or later they'll be showing up in mass at reasonable pricing.

Those modules from them have always been high end priced, their 505 nm is the same price, the 450 nm about 40 Euro less.
