Nope but I will actually have them in stock.

I emailed that flebayer earlier today about express shipping and still have not heard back and it's not at all uncommon for the Chinese sellers to advertise something they don't have in stock yet or are current out of...hence the 8 week delivery window.

I bought mine over two weeks ago and its not shipped yet.

UPDATE:

Did you buy from that seller?
Nichia NUBM07E 465nm 3 5W Blue Laser Diode Mount with Ball Lens TO5 9mm | eBay
He did email me back today and said he can overnight fed ex for 25 dollars extra.
So I'm mostly just curious, was he the seller you bought from?

Yes same seller. He replied and said they needed more time to remove the diode from the block. "might ship Monday".

Well I'll be damned, so the guy offers me 24 hour shipping on an item that he hopes to possibly have in hand 4 days from now.
That does not inspire much confidence. Thanks for the info, I hope you get a good unit for your wait.
I'm not willing to chance it at this point.

Any idea how soon:) My ebay seller is dragging his feet:yabbmad:

I wonder if they are all waiting on the same suppliers?
Right now DTR has the M-462 that hits about 464nm on sale for 65 bucks, I know my NUBM44 is 452nm @ 5.0A and just that 7nm bump past 445nm looks great.
I imagine that 445 vs 464 would probably look a lot better in person than in pics.
Do you own any of the 462nm diodes?
I'm tempted to cube a pair just to hold me over until these are available.

This is my NDB7A75 @ around 6 watts compared to 3.5 and 2.5 watts, both NDB7875s. Of course, that's just my camera making the lower power ones look purple. But it looks like the higher power diodes all get pretty good bumps in wavelength when running a lot of current through them. I'm telling you, I can not wait to buy one of these NUBM07E diodes. I am so anxious. Lol.

The power, bump in color/visibility(not much but still) for the price is insane.
Its a good time to revisit my laser hobby :p
445nm always had me like "i wish it was just a tad lighter blue".
And now to get a 6w + laser handheld....bats and insects watch out, the skies are gonna be dangerous :p

You are one of the 5 people who bought this prototype diode from existotem?
He has 99.6 feedback and 639 sales.
He has a lot of stuff for sale. $88.00 9mm 462 , that dual 2500mw 638nm
When have you ever seen a production 9mm diode with the numbers printed on the back? " partially obscured " no less.
25 people watching his ebay page for this diode.
Something is not adding up here.
It's a fair guess these are not in any projectors currently for sale in the US.
He has sold 7 of these:

I have done next day shipping from half way around the world just like we all have and even o-like has been chopping up these types of blocks for over a month now.
Money burning hole in wallet....getting bigger than hole in head....me want new diode soon

I really want to see if its feasible to correct the beam after the "ball lens"

Its not a Ball lens. Its just the way the chinglish translates. Its an Aspheric

I got some good news for you that i dint pay attention at first.

I did a Test today with some more diodes with the stock lens left on it and found something interesting out.

The Lens is actually much near focus then i original thought.

The NUBM41 diode at 20 feet the dot was nearly 3 feet i was told. (This is a 450nmish diode)

I assumed that all these style diodes with the long lens can will be the same.

However the NUBM07E the dot is nearly focused. Its a hair off past collimation.

The Reason.?

Well They are using the same lens cap assemble with the same fixed lens position.

So that means because the diodes have different WL from one another and both use the same fixed lens position the focus of the lens is at a slightly different distance. So this is why you get a huge beam with the 41 diodes and a tighter focus with the 07E.

I dint catch this at first because i dint do a long distance beam shot with the stock lens. But now that i got some in to test i noticed it today.

Think of this how Thorlabs sells the same Fixed Lens here but all they do is move the fiber FC connector closer or further away from the lenses to get focus. (I have these lenses here for 660nm and 635nm) You can see each WL has a slightly Longer/shorter FL distance the fiber is away from the lens. Thats do to the different WL.

They are all the same lens.

The new G Green diode is also like this too. Much tighter focus and pretty much the same as the 07E. (Ill be posting this thread tomorrow)

Regardless though i dont like how the stock lens looks. Too much splash with it.

I catt take picture till tomorrow night but picture you have a G lens at "Infinity Focus". Give the Lens a 1/4 turn past focus and thats how out of focus it is. (Just an Example not actually same beam size)

I was going to wait until I had 1 in hand before making a final judgment, but just looking at styropyros laser shotgun video they look VERY workable.
Yes I know his is not the 07E but it is the ball lens type block. The 07E with ball lens is probably even better. I'm willing to go either way, I just want one in hand....soon :)
