Movies with actual lasers in them

Some fun and sexiness could be found in Get Smart (2008):yh:

Get Smart laser and mouse - YouTube

The scene reminds me of Catherine Zeta-Jones in the laser scene from Entrapment (1999).

I doubt, in any of these scenes real laser beam projections were used though...

Those.sights can be found at some gumshops. I seen one used on "Son of a Gun" tv show on Discovery Channel

The earliest film use I have with real lasers, other than the ones previously mentioned is the original Alien by Ridley Scott in 1979. Again, same Argon-Ion lasers as before. This can be seen in the scene when the eggs are first discovered in the alien ship.

Aliens had real argon laser .. it's said it was one of the more expensive effects in the movie ..

just watched this scene and had to hop on to search, confirmed!
Also, i don't know if it's 3-line or 488 just... it looks just like my "3 line" before i fixed it to get all my green/indigo lines.

:/ We all know camera/ personal eyeballs/ monitor set up/ color correction all play a factor in what we see as the WL's "color"

But this scene is liquid sky at its most *MUAH* please watch it if you haven't

Source for confirmation? :D

What about predator? His shoulder cannon aiming lasers.

How has terminator not been mentioned? His gun sight was like the first laser gun sight using a small hene.

IMHO in Predator there were no actual lasers. First it clearly doesn't look like real lasers. Also if they were supposed to be clearly visible in daylight, in jungle, they would have to be of unsafe power.

I just watched a horror movie called Unknown Caller... dude had a green laser in beginning and popped a balloon then near the end he used it to take out a cctv or some camera

Well now San Andreas has a special scene. I won't give it away but the moral is: Get a 532nm - it could save your life.

The 1966 movie "Fantastic Voyage" had a laser in it, I am sure it wasn't a real laser back in 1966 but it was an important part of the movie, a necessary instrument for them to complete their mission, it was sabotaged and repaired. Anyone who likes Sci-Fi must see this movie.

Oh yeah I remember them talking about a qswitched laser

Pretty sure the laser sights in the new Jurassic World movie was the real deal.. Fogged to enhance beams though.

Not real lasers... but the new san andreas movie had a 532nm laser to signal "the rock".. cept the kid was shining it at their eyes. I thought to myself... "damn the laser forum is going to have a hayday with this one.. things not to do with lasers"!!

Still looking for the earliest film with an actual laser in it. 'Demon Seed' so far is the earliest I've found (1977). One of the characters in it actually defeats a robot blasting an argon at him with a handheld mirror, which is pretty smart if you ask me.
