Very interesting build, mhemling33! Does that still have the flashlight glass at the front?

nope It actually has a heatsink that fills the entire head. Then the module is towards the back of it and the end of the module is almost all the way to the end of the first tube. Then I have it powered by one 14500 that is in the extension tube. It was the only way I could make it work because of the length of the module. I didn't like how it looked sticking out.

Check out the one in my signature, Mrcrouse did an awesome job on the heatsink I asked for. It cleverly conceals the module. I was worried about all the jargon I had sent to me after telling him what I wanted, but he explained what they meant and it was legit.

Does anyone know how powerful the 30mW module would be?

No idea its worth the extra dollar or two to get the 50mW. Don't think anyone's bought a 30mW

I think everybody on the forum gets the 50mW module because it is only $2.23USD more....so I am not sure, but I would guess ~40mW?

EDIT: also I think I am going to buy a few more and see if I can get one that isn't crooked.

Oh okay. It's for my first high-power laser so I'm just going to stick with the 30mW :)

this one isn't too bad with no pot modding, it does a little dip but comes right back up

Have no idea but it usually only takes 11 days from the time they ship to get anything from them. Fasttech really is a good place to buy panasonic cells from as previously noted many times by Awillis.
Just ordered 3 more modules and 2 of the single aaa 532nm pens that I saw Awillis comment on at their site. Let's see what happens this time. I'll report on the other package when it arrives.
Awillis, care to comment about any of their other stuff that you've purchased? See that you've also bought some $5 532nm pens also and they were about 50mw. Did you test any of their pens for amount of IR?
Couldn't get LAUNCH to work for the 5% discount but "BLF" worked.

Yeah I can when I get to my computer later. Bought a lot of stuff from them.

I use the tenoff coupon code. Works on everything!
