Here is a reading I did with an IR Pass Filter

Right after I tested it with the filter I did a reading without the filter

I had to set the data logging threshold to 0 for the IR test because it wan't registering. I am happy with the results!

My god! That is awesome!!!!! How is the beam profile? Any mode hopping? If you find anymore like that hit me up for my monayyyy.

you already got the second best one out of the group coming to you ;)

as for mode hopping i haven't noticed anything yet. I don't have it in anything I am just testin the module so i haven't run it long

Looks like the 2 modules I ordered a few weeks ago that got tied up in CA will finally be arriving today:) The other 3 I ordered have been shipped. Hopefully they only take the 11 day norm this time. I'll do a quick lpm and report when they arrive. The first 2 I had were both 92mw (no pot adjustment). Would be nice to see one over the 100mw mark

Received my Fasttech package and it didn't look like it was opened but it was kind of offputting to have the 2 modules floating around in the bag (ordered other stuff with them). Was concerned that they wouldn't work but the cheapo wires were still attached which was a good sign.
The modules were 80 and 106mw:) Tried a careful pot adjustment on the 80mw but it was allready set "hot".
3 more on the way:)
Wannaburnstuff's right mhemling33...you must have gotten a freak module to hit 135 average:) Let's see what my next 3 do in a couple weeks.

Also posted this in the module voting thread.

My replacement module came in the mail today. I took some pics this time. The beam shot is in a sun lit room and is exactly how it looks in person. I don't have an LPM, but it can slice a 3/4" wide piece of electrical tape in about 10 seconds without it being stretched tight. A divergence measurement at 32 feet gave about 1.2 mRad. The beam comes out perfectly straight and centered. No visible power fluctuation. No mode hopping. The dot is perfectly round and clean. I wrapped a thin piece of electrical tape around the module threads so that the chrome cap would fit. It'll work for now. :D I still can't believe the level of performance we're getting for $10.

Has anyone been able to get the focusing lens loose? i have tried everything but it wont budge

I just received my two modules the other day, they both work! They look similarly powered, but hard to tell without an LPM.
I tried some minor tweaking on one of them, it seems to be set at or near max.

Both of my modules came apart easily, in two separate places. The front piece contains the focus lens, and the second piece (middle) has another plastic lens glued to it.

Edit - Added pictures.

I just picked up my module a few hours ago and built it into a survival lasers stainless steel host (my favorite host for any build, by far).

The module comes apart into 3 pieces like above.

It can't tell how powerful it is, but it seems to be just a bit brighter than all my other greens. Trimming the pot a bit also doesn't do much of anything. The beam is easily visible in my room with the lights on and the blinds open.

The beam is also off by a few degrees, maybe 2 or 3.

That is pretty normal for a green. I have never seen a green laser with perfectly straight angle.

The module looks the same as mine but that isn't a surprise. :)

Are you going to review the new, higher power green modules?
