After some consideration and understanding this is more "just for fun" I submit my Ed Hardy build.
It is a 12x with a Groove 2 driver set at 525mA 3 element lens. I have had it for a while and when I was building it I was in the dabbling with the thought of a steampunk theme <shiver>.:na::crackup::shhh:
Any way I hope this inspires people to keep some of their builds, if it wins or even is considered just remember I have enjoyed this little 12x ever since I built it, less than 3 years ago, and pulled it out yet again for your viewing pleasure:thanks: and have a great day.
I vote no limits. What I do think may have to happen though is to make the category a bit more restrictive but not too restrictive or it will lose the "fun". What I mean is more like instead of $100 spent, more like $0-10, 10-50, 50-100, etc... (just using $ as an example). For me, I don't even care if you just bought it or found it floating in a bottle and threw a sticker on it as long as you are completely honest about it. Let the people decide the winner with full disclosure.
Still have it totally open like this one but just pick a general category or too many people will get excluded. No-one is winning a car here. Keep it "light" and it will remain fun. Too many rules/parameters and the thread will die.
I know you may think this is stupid but I would have a hard time not voting for SBA's "second" entry because it makes me laugh everytime I see it. Wouldn't mind having a "funniest" category one
I would like to enter my Rifle laser.
A-140 diode ~$50 (at the time)
There is about $70 in this build.
I can't find any pictures, but I have a video of it.
