It is Here.!!!!! 300mW "635nm" Mitsubishi.....

Woah woah, wait a minute. What am I missing?

Which diode is that running at 1 fW (fukkin'Watt) of power, 300mW from Rayfoss or 500mW found elsewhere?

Damn, 6 hours of sleeping in wrong time zone and I'm already falling behind.

OK Guys, Curiosity got the best of me.:eg:

So I turned up the currant to this:

&

Now iam Getting this: With 405-G1 lens.:D

:san:

Although I want to go more  This is enough for me. If at this Currant its Unsafe to leave at which iam guessing it probebly is, ill just leave it at this currant just to see how long it will last.:)

Dang you DTR. Got me up at 5am messing with laser. "shaking fist"

Glad to see you back Phi.:)

So this is your 300mW diode? Both yours and DTR?

So these "300mW" diodes can do OVAR 9000 ?!

OK. One is waiting at home. I cannot wait.

DTR Pushed it>:)

Yes It seems that they can do over 900mW however is is probebly going to have a very very short life. Just my guess.

We will have detailed test Results later on today by Cyparagon. "Friday"

No I mean, these are not the 500mW variants found elsewhere, these are the same 300mW Rayfoss diodes we've all ordered, right? And it can do over 600-700mW on standard Aixiz glass lens?

Dam! OK, will set my driver to 600mA for starters, see what I get. Raise to 700mA if everything goes alright, and will leave it there. How does that sound?

You are Correct Sir. These are the same 300mW RayFoss Diodes that everyone got.:)

Please Note that My Results have been different from everyone else because my diode seems to be very very efficient.

These Currant that Mine and DTR are at are Un know to be "Safe" yet.

I had mine set to 473mA and was Doing ~550mW with a G1 lens. Other where doing ~350mW at that currant with a G1/G2 lens.

In Order to get 6-700mW with an Aixiz Lens you would probebly have to run it ~800-900mA.

If you look at DTR First Post with him driving it at 700mA he was get ~700mW with a G2 lens.
http://laserpointerforums.com/f50/here-300mw-635nm-mitsubishi-66942-18.html#post970990

So at 700mA you will be ~550mW -~600mW with a Aixiz Lens maybe a little more or less.

Like he said, I would not say these are safe currants to run these diodes at.

I would start off at ~450mA and wait to see what Cyparagon Results are before you start to crank yours up.:)

But so Far they are looking very Robust.

I cant wait for the 500mW.

Thanks for the sum-up, I was just reading up through last 2-3 pages and got lost a little. Ahh, didn't have enough coffee yet :p

So that being said, I'll go for 500mA or somewhere close, see what I get with normal Aixiz glass. Can't afford those G1-2 lenses just yet.

hot dam! looks like ill be making the jump to high range on my flexdrive :)

Had to go to sleep last night but here is the video I promised.:D

Jordan, you are truly THE MAN!! So I'm guessing you still haven't got it to kill over yet? Wow, just wow. I am so blown away by this! I really still don't have the funds, ( still looking for a proper job ). But I may have to break down and get one of these from you!:undecided:

Yep it is pretty amazing. I am blown away myself. Anyway I do have 7 of these left in stock if anybody does not want to wait for shipment from China.:D

Geez 1.5A!!?? I almost found myself rooting...."Die you stupid diode!!"
That thing is a real trooper.:pop:

How about a power measurement? Did it suffer any power loss or damage to the output?

Damn. So scratch 500mA, going for 1 amp. Heh, finally I lived to see the day when 1 amp is considered conservative for a RED laser diode.

^^ Yea, it almost seems like these are even TOUGHER than the 445s. These little diodes are only rated at 300mW, and isn't dead yet! I bet the 500mW version would hit 2 watts!!
