GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES CLOSED

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

Well, realize that, if their tolerances aren't up to par, we can always ask for a refund. I assume they offer that if they screw up (legitimate companies typically do).

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

If we can do it .57$ per module

I'm in for 50modules.

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

Yes, .57$ per module is very tempting. I am going qua-triple the order for a little more cost.

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

Well we seem to be around 700, so nearly there....I would also order the 33% more if everyones keen to get over the 1000 mark!

@OP PM sent about international shipping.:)

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

yea if they went down in price i would increase my order by 4x then i would never need to buy diode holders again...
okay who the hell am i kidding maybe 1 or 2 years.
But still i need these so badly for by builds in projectors
Copper diode holder plus aluminum heat spreader what better combination for projectors!

Yup copper and aluminum work great together ;)

Would you be able to ask the company for a sample before you make your order?

It would be a disaster if you dish out a few grand and end up with modules that don't have the correct tolerances.
Well for 10 samples it would cost me 190$ shipped and that's the most samples they would provide me with. So that's quite expensive as well.this seller uses PayPal to pay and I said if the tolerances were worst then +/-0.02mm I would complain. And she said they will be fine. If they are not fine I will send them back and get a refund and then refund everyone. Of course I'm not expecting that to happen but I had to think of it incase. Plus these are diode modules, if the dimensions are correct (which they are) there won't be any problems. And there wont be any problems :D

I think I would like rear threads to screw on an opened up aixiz module to help with pressing diodes straight, how do you pros do it straight without these threads?

I'm assuming you would also want your module to be polished for better heatsinking, is that the case?

Also, do either of these options cost extra?

There is diode press tools to press the diodes.
You can chose any options at the same price ;) add yourself to the list with your options :D

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

I've never been a fan of aixiz BRASS modules for heatsinking but now with these copper ones pressed into aluminum heatsinks would be perfect !!!!! CAN"T WAIT!! :D:evil::evil::evil::evil:

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

What kind of copper alloy would this be btw?

I'm not yet sure... I'll ask the manufacturer. Expect a reply sometime tommorow as they don't work today

let's hope it's just copper :D:shhh:
It is :) I just don't know what alloy the manufacturer said it was "pure copper" so I'm not sure what its called exactly but pure copper ;)

Yup heatsinking will be great. Copper as a module and aluminum as a heatsink i think is the best combination :D

Put me down for 5X 5.6mm, 2X 3.8mm and 2X 9mm. Thanks for putting this together

Edit: Copper, obviously, as the title suggests.

Alright, hopefully it's 101 copper or something with around 355 W/m-k thermal conductivity :)

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

I'm sorry but I feel this should be said.

Before we send off any $$$.... Who will be handling this transaction? I would feel much better if a vet or trusted member would handle this.

And NOTHING against you AnthoT.. nothing at all. It's just we had steviedezie who was trusted/good rep/good standing across the forum and he owned us.

Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES

Not to try to complicate things but just for customs sake and time, would you mind terribly having these orders shipped 1 to canada and the other to the USA?
Because if you have to ship to you then to the USA its going to take around 1-2 weeks to get here.
But if you were to ship directly to a member in the USA shipping would be faster and cheaper due to it would be domestic and more around 3$
