Why does non-laser related stuff need to be sold on a laser forum? That's what eBay is for

..... cause, maybe, some laserist can have also some different things to sell, other than lasers, and not anyone have an ebay account ? .....

Make a new BST block, just like there is a laser and off-topic block. Make the "other" BST section and throw in the Pro shop and the regular BST section. The Deals section may also go in the BST block.

Wasn't there also mention recently of trying to seperate, 'Want To Buy', threads? Maybe this would be an opportunity to do that at the same time?

Indeed. I'd actually like it if we could just group all sections like this. For example: Lasers --> (Separated by wavelength) 405nm/445nm/473nm/532nm/635nm/650nm/etc. and such.

IMO, the system we have right now works pretty well. It is probably best to try to keep the number of threads in each category more or less equal. If we had a category for each wavelength, then there would probably be an artificially high interest for less discussed wavelengths such as true yellow because it has its own category.

I haven't really gotten a chance to use the BST yet because I'm a noob, but I like the BST other idea.

I voted no only because most people selling other stuff are doing so to buy lasers. But a BST on the Other board sounds OK too.

I completely agree with this dave. Definately a good way to clean it up and make it a more clear and consice board dedicated to sales related threads only.
