4W Blue Diode Coming! Single Mode Too !!

Yes, I was referring to *very* high powered reds. Multimode diodes, and with outlandishly large emitters. I can't imagine that they would use DPSS for red and blue in a laser TV. I thought those colours/wavelengths were ultra-expensive and inefficient to produce via DPSS?

We are developing green and blue laser diodes, and expect to be in production for both in early 2012.

We are shipping low power 85mW single mode blue laser diode samples presently.

Going to still try and get to Kaai's old HQ soon. Not even sure if they are still located here in SB! Apparently the founder of Kaai's son goes to my old school (a tiny school ~40 in each grade of high school and ~20 per grade below high school) so we'll see if I can make any connection there..

I just got my 4W 445 diodes in the mail today
Thanks for the fast shipping soraa!
 
If you use a flexmod and shoot about 6-7A in it I've gotten between 6-8 Watts!
8.5W with g-1 ;)

Edit: that reminds me... My LPM is on fire :(
