My SolarForce kit is a great choice that has a massive heatsink and very easy to assemble. Just take a look at the options here:

If your aiming for 200mW's, I would recommend a 445 diode set at 450mA's and an AixiZ 445 lens for about 200 to 240mW's.

I don't sell the diodes, but there are several selling the diodes in the BST section. Send me a private message about getting the SolarForce kit! :)
Hey man. I've been lurking these forums on and off for a while now, and I'm pretty impressed by the reviews you've been getting!

I was just wondering if you could lend me your wisdom briefly to sort out what sort of kit I'd need to make a lazor. I'm not after one with a particularly high output for now - I'm only aiming for 100-200mW - it's more more for making cool photographs with and pointing at stuff than for burning.

The long and short of it is, the end result would ideally be a laser that will knock out ~150mW of power, run continuously without heat issues, and have a mahoosive battery. I like the look of the SolarForce host, so I'd probably go for that. It's also nice that I can bump the power up a bit later without having to get another host...

Any ideas what's the best way to go about this whole thing? I can afford somewhere around $150 without too much trouble, but if spending a bit more will make a good difference I'd be able to.

    Cheers for your time!
Hi Jayrob, i really like your builds and im hoping that you can make me a custom heatsink to fit this torch off ebay: 3W LED super bright Flashlight outdoor waterproof 5026 (eBay item 170518206367 end time 21-Mar-11 20:42:22 AEDST) : Sport
    =106987

also what kind of drivers would i be able to
    fit into that thing?

    Thanks

Btw im a newbie, i joined lpf a week ago and developed an intrest in lasers 3 weeks ago :)
Hey man can you sell me a laser a cheap one but that can burn things. Can you ship to Mexico? thanks. worldscott sent me to you
Well yes, I sell the complete assembled lens. But to some who only want the bare optic, it is also available...

Send me a private message for ordering and other questions! :)
Well my friend has one from you and it screws right onto my Aixiz housing (maybe it was modified). It looks just like the picture of you holding it.
I sell the bare lenses but they do not fit an AixiZ lens nut unless you modify it. Or it can fit loosely into the threaded area where the retaining ring goes. And it will have to be glued in place.

    Here's picture showing the modification:
    Hey,

I was wondering if I could buy a 405-g lens from you. I have bought the aizix housing so I just want to be able to screw the old lens off and another new lens on.
