SOLD OUT

I have 0 of these little beauties for sale. The body is stainless, lens glass AR coated.

They can be used in two ways. One is with a standard 1.5v AAA Alkaline battery
which on a full battery in low pulsed mode gives an average of 30mW. These are
3-mode pens, but the med and high mode should not be used with a 1.5v battery.
It puts addition strain on the battery, and will die out quicker..

When used with a 3.6v 10440 Li-ion, the power jumps. Low pulsed mode which
is approx 5khz pulse, gives an average of 80mW, medium slow pulse is average
575mW and on high with no pulse up to 1W! Using a glass aspheric lens will add
another 20% or so to the output.

The average high power is 8-900mW, most are just above that, but not all.

You need a good 10440 to get the most power out. A used 10440 which is
starting to lose its 'umph' will die quickly on the high power setting.

The 3-mode option is what allows these little guys to put out a ridiculous
amount of power vs size.

The high mode is intended for short burst of 20 seconds or less. If you exceed
the 20 seconds on, the laser will drop its output, but only briefly, allowing
it to cool slightly will bring the output right back up.

When the low power mode is used, the laser can run several minutes before
heating.

These come with a 2 year warranty and are fully assembled. Charger and
batteries are not included.

In the below video it shows the power when used with a 1.5v as 1mW or less...
I have since made changes to the driver, as 1mW quickly drops out...

Any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking

Ships polished and scratch free as pictured.

Wow, that's pretty cool!
But 1mW from a 445nm?
Are you a wizard?
Oh, maybe you mean 1mW average due to it being pulsed.

*Edit.. durr. 1mW and less was the lower output, but heat quickly drops that out...
And yes, it was in the low pulsed mode when used with a 1.5v battery..
The original measurements were taken with a lasercheck, so im not sure how
accurate the readings were..

Regardless, I have since upped the minimum output to 30mW, as the lower power
dropped out too fast.

Thanks guys  I liked these layouts enough to make more than 1...

Whats the average battery runtime for the 3.6v?

I use mine daily, depending on how much time is put in on the high power, will directly
affect use between charges. On the low mode its only 80mW average so the batt lasts
probably 20 mins total on time or so. The fact that its pulsed also helps battery life.
Its good to keep the charge topped up as the driver will work down to 1.3v or so.
All the 10440's ive seen and used are unprotected, so keeping the voltage over the
2.4v minimum is critical if you want them to last.

The high mode is meant to be used in bursts, so the battery will last, as long as its not
the only mode you use.

I leave my personal laser on the 5khz pulsed mode 90% of the time, and use the unplused
high power when I get the >urge< :eg:

If I want to play the a higher power longer, I just use another laser either labby or laser
with a larger battery...

These are more for the little one you carry that's all bite with little bark
