When you search "Laser" in the iPhone App Store hoping for a cool laser related app to get your fix while away from LPF and your lasers.

Side note: I did find something of note: An app called "Laser". It is a game, where you have an emitter, beam splitters, and mirrors, and you have to get the laser beam directed to the receiver. VERY fun! I highly recommend it....free too!

When you have to climb a ladder to get all your handhelds in the same picture and they still don't fit.
 
When the first thing you do when you wake up is grabbing you phone to check for new PM's..

When you go back to the last page of a section and then read threads from old to new..

When you are checking more than 10 times a day on work which has nothing to do with lasers...

When you realize you have 15 lasers of the same wavelength..

Another fun laser app is Laser Cats. It lets you add cats and laser beams (separately or in combination) to your photos! A well done app.
 
When your house has random burn marks...

When lasers are the first thing that pops into your head for every type of gift.

When you realize you haven't eaten for several hours, and yet remain on LPF.

"Can this light things on fire?!" ~Said all your friends.

That moment when you brag that your laser is 2W.. but it looks so vague because it's 445nm.
 
When you can make a pretty good guess at the wavelength of anything, and you've seriously organized your closet by wavelengths. Having OCD along with the laser thing isn't so good. xD

When you've taken the suggestion of a few select members and only recently realized that you can light things other than matches and cats by accident with my 445. :D

I know exactly what you guys mean about the laser as a gift thing, I think everyone needs one, but my current interest is one of those "no evil radiation!" types.. :( they're cute so that makes up for it.
