Re: White laser pointer...nearly :)

....and just for Andycon, my first video, the camera is not picking up the colours that well and the battery for the green needs recharging, but you get the idea ;)

Re: White laser pointer *movie added* :)

Pure awesomeness - a work of art. I can't wait to see the finished laser.

Re: White laser pointer *movie added* :)

Thanks for the comments guys.

The thing is....I don't do simple, hence all the machined parts.
But if you have been building lasers for a while you will have the vast majority of the optical parts to make the basic combiner for the beams,( I realise that not everyone has a lathe for the adaptors) add some battery holders and 3 push buttons, shoehorn it into a project box........
......add a spiro to the front end ::) and away you go!

The mw is unknown but is brighter to the eye than my blu ray 803T running at 110mw (that maybe due to our eyes perception to colour)
No idea of wavelength...but I have noticed the brighter patches in the beam, is it possible that that is where all three wavelenghts work together best???

All batteries ended up the same in 2 seperate supplies.

Can this work or its imossible because of the different wavelength?

I think you have hit the nail on the head right there.

If you want to focus multiple colors for burning you can use a concave mirror instead of a lens, that way the colors wouldn't separate.

Absolutely fantastic work! Great writeup!

Re: White laser pointer *movie added* :)

Epic white laser.

I can't wait to see it when the host is finished!

Re: White laser pointer *movie added* :)

I gave you a +1 for this :D It is amazing.Ingenious as always!!

Whats the wavelenght?

It's still 650nm , 532nm and 405nm. ::)

Re: White laser pointer *movie added* :)

Some photo's of the host follow, still not finished but getting there.......
