Don't feel bad about it, I was only guessing as there were no other clues ;)

Excellent tutorial, man.
Great new innovation! I'd like to see a cut down version of this from jay :p
I wonder how small he can get it!

would you be willing to selling any of these? and how much like $300? haha its a great concept, especially the tunnels and rotationary gratings.

I have already turned down $500 for this one, TBH I am not intrested in selling and I will never build another one the same. The pocket size one is well under way (just awaiting materials for the host), I will post a tutorial then it is up to you to build your own. ;)

Why make one when you can have TWO for twice the effort.

And then sell one of them! [smiley=evil.gif]

When making the host, did you mount the divider that goes between the large part and the small part in the lathe off center to make the holes, or did you just use a drill press?

I have a mill so was able to do it all using XY coordinates. There is no reason at all that you couldn't do it on a drill press if it was carefully marked out and centrepopped.

CNC mill, or did you do it by hand? I have access to a manual mill right now, and can get access to a CNC mill, but I have to go through more training (probably 4 more hours, but worth it for this and other future projects).

My mill is manual, but I have added digital readouts to make life easier.

I thought an update on the new build might be timely.....

This uses the PHR 803T sled.. It is not as easy as the PS3 as I had to change the optics around. It is awaiting some materials and warmer weather so that I can get into the workshop.

There are problems with the standard sled, the dichro only allows 50% of the blu-ray to reflect and worse still acts as a grating to the green splitting it into 3 beams :-/....I have solved the problem but will reveal all when I am finished.

I have been asked by a couple of members for a circuit diagram for this build.... see below.
The 6 way switch is a clayhill 2 pole 6 way ( I cannot find the data sheet for it at the moment, if I find it I will post it)
