Mine is a 20Mbits/s download, 1Mbit/s upload ADSL2+ connection. Actual speed is 18-19,5Mbits/s download, 800-870kbits/s upload.

20mbit down, 1mbit up. I could get 30mbit down, 1mbit up, but it would cost triple what I'm paying now ($35/mo).

Brutally fast, but ABSURDLY expensive. And plus, that's a local server, and we all know the internets lives in the US :) So...

Look at that ping, lol.

im paying $45/month for it

 that is sad.

My original speed was 6Mb down and 2Mb up when I first checked it. But I just figured out that Linksys wireless G routers have latency issues. If you are using one of these, plug your computer directly into the modem and see if your speed changes. Mine is 25Mb down 10Mb up now that its direct connect. I'm still shopping for a new router.

Is it a WRT-54G? I've had one of those... Great routers, though the stock firmware sucks. Try updating the firmware to the latest version from linksys, if that doesn't fix it you can try a 3rd party firmware like OpenWRT or DD-WRT. These firmwares give a lot of extra functionality that normally is only available in multi-thousand-dollar routers, and they fix most of the issues the stock firmware has.

Seems my ping isn't too bad for 40 bucks per month.
