@Curtis If you can get the 200mbps is great! would be a FTTC upgrade
We here in Italy we are almost all at FTTH latency because of copper is little!

Look at that ping, lol.

You do realize the earth is quite big right?

If you ran a cable halfway around the world, with a propagation speed of 2/3c (fairly typical) the return ping time would be in the order of 150-200 ms, if everything was perfect. These cables don't really run in straight lines though, the ping time for a well connected server in australia is 350 ms or so from europe.

28.9 Mbps Down, 5.99 Mbps Up, and 58ms ping on London server.
Much better than what I had previously.

Currently I get 70 mbps down and about 30 mbps up. It's enough to watch 4K video OK with no buffering, which is neat since I now have a 4K capable screen.

Fiber to the house and cat 6 everywhere once it hits the house.

Running a little slow today, but acceptable

I just happened to be in an area of Charlotte where ATT dropped in a gigabit connection, I love it. $70 a month.

It also helps when I use the VPN, because they seem to slow everything down to a crawl, comparitively.

I'm just jealous of the people I see with 10Gb connections. - Always SOMETHING faster, better, etc.

Still faster than the speed I get here in the UK Trinh - I'm paying for "20 Meg" because my ISP thinks their customers are children who can't understand technical terms - but it rarely peaks above 10Mbps down, 1Mbps up.

I get FTTC Fibre atm, but hopefully my infrastructure will finally be upgraded soon to FTTP. Its coincidental that this thread has resurrected as only a few hours ago my speed was 0. For 6 whole days. :(

And its not the time to get their either, 2ms ping is awesome. Hope it's at least cheap :)

I went to my Mom's place this past week to see her, she is in her late 70's. But its 1000 miles away.
I could only get 3 down and about 8 up - and she's paying $45.00 a month.
I'm sure it's split out for the whole neighborhood also.

Most of midwest is bare. It will get to you in Vietnam someday :)
